Tucked among mature evergreens in the cool morning mist, this Brookings cabin is a place to find true relaxation on the Southern Oregon Coast. Spend your days exploring a spectacular stretch of coastline, and your afternoons and evenings unwinding and dining alfresco on two gorgeous decks.
This single-story cabin sits up in the treetops, just across the Oregon Coast Highway and up the hill from Whaleshead Beach. It's located in the heart of the Samuel H. Boardman State Scenic Corridor - a place to hike the Oregon Coast Trail, explore secluded beaches, and go for long, scenic drives. Harris Beach State Park, Cape Ferrelo, the Thomas Creek Bridge, Natural Bridges, and Arch Rock State Park are all within seven miles.
Between the two separate decks and the large picture windows found throughout the house, the main cabin is a showcase of its lovely surroundings. Sip your coffee in the fragrant forest air, barbecue on the gas grill in the evenings, and sip wine on the deck off the bedroom as the golden hour light filters through the trees. The interior is cozy and welcoming, from the window-lined living and dining areas to the well-equipped kitchen. There is a charming queen bedroom, bathroom, two TVs, a private washer/dryer, and complimentary WiFi for your comfort and convenience.
The studio is separated from the main cabin by a lovely deck for greater privacy and offers an additional queen bedroom and bathroom.

We have stayed at this cabin several times. The lay out works for us. However this will be the last time we come here. It just seems over the years no improvements are ever made. Both beds are so hard and uncomfortable. The main bedrooms mattress is actually uneven, sunk in the the middle, and hard. The pillows in both rooms are so old and have no fluff to them. Frankly they need to be thrown away. Extremely disappointed that the hot tub was unplugged. The toilet in the annex bathroom had the top lid off and sitting on the toilet seat when we arrived.I guess that was to let us know we needed to reach our hands down into the water of the tank to lift chain to flush toilet! This was actually hard to do AND disgusting! They left the light bulb on the bathroom counter I guess for us to change out so we had an outside light. Our last night we figured out that in order to get hot water to shower in the annex room you need to keep the sink water running at the same time. The annex has a little heater that took all night to heat it up. The tvs are so old and so tiny!
