The location is a great one that is close enough to attractions and town yet not in the middle of the crowd. Beautiful setting, the cabin is wonderful.

Our stay was warm and cozy because of the 2 fire places. Finished off our evenings in the hot tub. The cabin was very clean and well stocked with all necessities. I can’t wait to come for another visit.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was clean, comfortable, and still decorated for Christmas, which added a charming touch. The location was easily accessible and perfect—close to Pigeon Forge for fun and excitement, and near Wears Valley for great antiquing. Although the cabin is in a neighborhood, it was quiet and peaceful. We would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The view is wonderful, the hot tub was nice, and the fireplace made the cabin so cozy. The Christmas tree and decorations were an added festive bonus. Having two king size beds was great as well. The road to the cabin did freeze over a bit so I strongly recommend having 4WD or AWD. Would definitely stay here again, my family had a great time resting and relaxing.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The view was beautiful. The kitchen was well equipped. The drive up to the cabin was the worst oart. Both of our vehicles were damaged when turning onto Laurel Valley Rd, due to an extremely narrow drop off from the main road, The hosts were kind and receptive to our needs. The bathroom could use some hooks for towels and toiketry bags and the master could use a nightstand. Overall a lovely weekend!

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin itself is beautiful but the views were amazing. We had questions for the owners a couple of times during the stay and they were super responsive. We would stay again at Joel and Alicia’s place for sure!

Albeit this was my family’s 2nd trip to the Gatlinburg area this was our first trip staying outside of downtown and in a cabin. That being said, it’s rare in today’s day and age that expectations are ever met, but there were here! Thank you for hosting me and my family, we created lifetime memories! (In my Arnold voice) We will be back! Thank you, Anthony

Amazing place to stay but it’s a bit of a challenge “climbing” the drive up. Took a couple trips in to get the hang of it. Very worth the challenge.

Cabin was super clean. Nice fluffy towels (I'm so used to rentals having cheap towels LOL ) Only me and hubby stayed but we enjoyed it. Nice hot tub for soaking after too much hiking. Bear cubs ran out in front of us on the road up to the cabin so be very watchful while driving. The only thing I would complain about is the road. You really need a 4 wheel drive to get up that last portion of the road with the holes and gravel and room for only 1 vehicle at a time. Which is not the owners fault since they don't own the road. It must have stormed as we had to dodge a few trees that had fallen on the larger road. Easy to get to cades cove area or laurel falls. I will have to say I always look forward to eating at Paw Paws for some red beans and rice! Only 7-8 miles to busy Pigeon Forge if you need more entertainment. I prefer the more quiet area around wears valley myself. The foothills parkway is nice and not crowded if you want to see some great views and at the very end is a nice lake. there's also a small hike to a lookout tower that's kind of like a smaller version of clingmans dome on that road. not crowded at all. just a heads up no bathrooms or gas stations on that parkway though. always enjoy seeing the mountains and wildlife. thanks for a nice cabin to come home to at the end of our long day.

Whether you choose the ground level sitting porch with hot tub or the upper balcony, great views of the Smokies can be had. It's an inviting area to enjoy breakfast and a sunrise or a relaxing evening sunset conversations, with a chance to see a bear or two. The cold air conditioning was welcome during the heat of summer and encouraged snuggling up in one of the comfy beds for a good night's rest. The tabletop arcade and various game boards were welcome time killers for the whole family. An equally short drive to the sight in Pigeon Forge or into the Smokies made the site a nice middle ground for a mix of activities.
