Tide's Reach Cabin: Forest Retreat Only Steps From Rathtrevor Beach

We enjoyed several nights recently in this well appointed home. Situated right next to the provincial park and a 10 minute walk from the incredible Rathtrevor Beach it is an ideal spot for a quiet beach getaway. The home is clean, comfortable and well decorated. We would stay here again and highly recommend it.

Excellent accommodations in every way. Very spacious and well-appointed, with modern appliances and nice bedrooms. Loved it!

Rental unit was clean and exactly as in the photos. Helpful binder on info left for renters. Thr beach is walkable and absolutely gorgeous.

The location is as pictured and is close to the beach and convenient to Parksville and the highway to access hiking trails and parks. The unit is very quiet and comfortable. I would come back and stay here again. Monica was very quick to respond to questions and concerns.

This beautifully appointed cottage is clean and well presented with everything needed for a wonderful stay in this beautiful location.

Check in was super easy with parking right outside the door, and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cutlery and even sharp knives. We had everything we needed and more. There’s also much here for a younger family, which I would have appreciated so much in earlier years. Even the use of a wagon for carting kids and gear to the beach. Comfortable beds, quiet at night, and near a great restaurant in the next resort. I even found an EV charger within walking distance, (beside the restaurant) which is quite convenient. The beach here has bioluminescence once the water warms for mid summer, well worth a late wander or paddle. Host is excellent with communication and we would definitely come again.

This is the second time that my husband and I have spent in Tanglewood on the edge of Rathtrevor Park. The quiet forested neighborhood was perfect for very relaxing in this centrally located Tides Reach Cabin. It had everything that we needed to make ourselves feel at home. Monica was flexible and easy to communicate with. We will make this the place to stay the next time that we visit Parksville, BC

A beautiful cottage in a beautiful setting. The cottage had everything we needed. It was close to great walks, good food. We’d stay again!

Came to Parksville for a wedding, and this was the perfect place to relax between festivities. Kitchen was well supplied, with kettle Kurig and coffee machine for those large batches. Plenty of glasses mugs and plates. Master bedroom and bath were spacious & second bedroom a little smaller, but more than enough for 2 with suitcases. Didn't sit outside much because of rain, but a nice little patio with chairs as well.

If you are looking for a peaceful retreat away from noise & yet still need access to good good internet, this is it! A quick 5 min walk gets you right down to Rathtrevor Beach. Then warm up by the cozy fireplace on chilly evenings & enjoy cooking in the well appointed, fully equipped kitchen.Master bed was firm yet comfy. Monica was super helpful & attentive. Would definitely recommend this place.

The cabin was clean, comfortable, and well equipped for every one that was there. Whether it was our three year old or my in-laws, everyone had a great time and felt relaxed in the cabin. There were so many small touches, like safety clips available to lock up any cupboards, and a potty training seat to make us feel safe.

Our family of 4 had a lovely stay here and would happily return one day. The beds were comfortable with spare linens available, the reclining couch was a hit and the bathtub exceptional. The place is in great condition and a short walk from the beach. We enjoyed the bbq and walks, as well as nearby mini golf. Even though the weather was a bit mixed, we had a great vacation because this place was so lovely.

Place was in a great location, short walk to the beach, easy for kids. Home was clean and tidy. Nice quiet road, would absolutely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tide's reach. The place is family friendly, with games and beach toys. Just a 5 minute walk to the beach. We would definitely stay here again.

The cabin was as advertised and very clean. Super short walk to the beach with a wagon. The kids liked the yard. In the house you'll just be moving a couple of breakable items up high for under 3's and you're set. The host responds to messages within hours every time and has a good knowledge of local activities to try out. The bedrooms basically do not heat up at all, even in the height of summer, because of the forest shade.

We had a lovely visit with our son who is two and my in laws. There were helpful little touches to the place, like a high chair, a toilet seat for potty training and three little step stools for my son to reach the taps/sink. The deck had an outdoor bin full of beach toys, bubbles and two camping chairs. The wagon came in handy to get us and my toddler to and from the beach. We had everything we needed and Monica was always helpful via messaging if needed.
