Great location, first time in a container.

Stayed 2 nights here for our 30th anniversary. First time to the Red River Gorge area. This little cabin (it's actually a shipping container which is unique) is perfect for two people. Everything you would need is thoughtfully included. Very clean and modern interior with a rustic exterior. The hot tub and fire pit are perfect after a long day of hiking. The stars at night were stunning. Amanda is a wonderful and accommodating host/owner. We cannot wait to come back and stay here. It will probably be when it's a little bit warmer outside, but the lack of crowds made up for that.

We loved our stay! Room was super clean, organized kitchen, beautiful bathroom. Tons of outlets for charging. Bed was comfy! The check in instructions were so easy to follow! Hot tub was clean and hot! Beautiful view from the patio! I would love to see it in fall!

The Den was the perfect little get away for a short weekend of exploring the gorge, soaking in the hot tub, and being warm for the 1st time in months. Thank you for sharing with us.

First off have to say hands off to the owners. This property was just perfect. I couldn’t say enough about the overall home feeling. From the back it looks like an ordinary shipping container. You come around to the front to a very calming patio setup with the hot tub, fire pit that was ready to go with everything needed including a log splitter to assist with cutting down your wood. Hot tub was ready to go, even had a grill with fuel to prepare first nights meal. Then you step inside.. the WOW factor for the inside is just not enough. Everything down to the smallest details were just perfect. With such a small space, they managed to make everything possible while still presenting comfort. The all nature wood and feel to the cabin made this stay perfect. We spent our days seeing the trail heads and at night soaking in the hot tub under the stars, firing up the grill for some steaks. Having our meal on the patio looking off to the ridge and cliff of RRG was beyond perfect!!! THANK YOU again for this little piece of heaven can’t wait to come back for another visit!!!

What an absolute dream of a getaway. I hated to leave! Waking up to the misty view and enjoying campfires and a soak in the tub before bed, it was just splendid and soothing. I want to come back!!

Perfect little getaway! We came down to hike RRG and found this gem to stay in. It felt private, and had a beautiful view. Amanda was very responsive to all questions and the property was extremely clean and well kept. Will book again next trip.

We absolutely loved this stay! One of our favorites for sure. The hot tub was a special touch! We seen turkey and deer and the weather was a little rainy but we slept so good with the rain coming down on the metal.

We had an amazing weekend at the container. The hot tub was fantastic and the view was beautiful. The only problem that we had was it said it was easily accessible and it wasn't for a motorcycle which is what we were on.

My wife and I stayed here to celebrate our 20 year anniversary. We wanted something that wasn’t a tourist trap but close enough to some stuff and this fit the bill. We loved everything about our stay here and would 100% stay here again. Very clean and comfortable. This was a peaceful oasis that we needed! Host was very friendly and attentive.

Loved our stay at your container cabin! The rental had literally everything we could want, and a beautiful setting to boot! The weather didn't allow us to enjoy the fire pit or hot tub until the last night, but we thoroughly enjoyed them then! We loved having the day to hike and relaxing with some TV and games at night. Shower worked great. Washer and dryer also very convenient. Very impressed with all this container had to offer. Maybe we'll be back some weekend in the future! Thank you for hosting!

Very clean, quiet, beautiful view.

Our stay at the container was absolutely amazing!! The hot tub is great and the views are breathtaking. We enjoyed our stay so much. We didn’t want to leave.!!! Hoping to come back in the fall to see all of the leaves changing color and don’t want to stay at any other place!!

We wanted to stay someplace that was quiet and peaceful that allowed us to enjoy what makes the area unique. We also wanted a kitchen, washer and dryer, and a hot tub. We could not have chosen a better place to stay! The owners are gracious and have obviously put a lot of thought and care into their units. We had a lot of questions and host Amanda kindly answered everything. The location was perfect, giving us immediate access to all of the hiking and parks, and surprisingly only about an hour from Lexington.At her suggestion we did bring a couple of extra blankets in case we needed them (March trip) but were very comfortable. We also brought our own towels for the hot tub.It's a single shipping container so it's exactly as pictured - one large room with a separate NICE bathroom. We loved the location and the view at the den! The space is nice and the perfect size for 2 adults. We enjoyed the view and the hot tub and loved that it felt secluded. I would be careful on the drive up Star Gap since it’s a narrow road with some spots that are hard to see. We had some trucks coming down as we went up and there wasn’t really anywhere to move over, but we got lucky most of the time with no traffic going the other direction. We enjoyed Toad’s, Miguel’s, Gorge Underground, Auxier Trail, and Daniel Boone’s Coffee Shop (3 times!). Nothing was more than a 15 minute drive with the exception of the trail we chose being more like 25 minutes. Would stay in a shipping container cabin again!

Perfect spot to take a break from life. Its very clean and has great amenities. We had to leave a day early due to a family issue, but we’ll definitely be back. Thanks!

Out of the three, this has been the best cabin we’ve stayed at in the Gorge! The hot tub was killer and the container was very clean and comfortable, (mattress included!) This place is also close to all of the attractions. Having cable in a storage container is hilarious. And we even had a family of deer inspect us as we had our fire going! Oh, and the view of the mountains was amazing. We’ll certainly be back!

What a delightful abode! This cozy, clean, and modern spot is perfect for a secluded weekend getaway. With a hot tub, grill, fire pit, and a breathtaking view, you would be perfectly content staying put for the duration of the stay. But local spots (Daniel Boone Coffee Shop, for example) & a quick drive to the gorge & walking trails make it worth it to venture out. Cannot recommend this spot enough!

Oh my goodness.....I never would have thought that a shipping container could feel SO incredibly spacious, luxurious, warm and cozy! This beautiful property by far surpassed any of our expectations. It felt so comfortable and was spotlessly clean. Everything was well thought of and properly stocked with everything we needed for our long weekend. Seriously, if you've never stayed in any kind of container den/cabin, then definitely book this one....perfect for a couple's getaway! Especially with the private lot/view and perfect sized hot tub for 2! The location was close to everything that we typically drive to while visiting RRG also.We will definitely be back...would love to bring more family and stay at the larger container den/cabin up the hill!

This unique property was perfect for my husband and I. Close to all the hiking trails and Natural Bridge State Park but still secluded. Amazing view from the property. We will definitely be back!

The Container Den Cabin was EXACTLY what/where we needed. The view from the patio area was GORGEOUS!! Amanda was a very easy host to deal with. Very prompt answering any questions. The cabin was immaculately clean and very well stocked with everything you could need. We can’t wait to visit again.

We had an excellent time at the property. Everything was very clean and the place was well stocked. Wonderful vistas, and quiet place.

Coming into the property was easy per our host Amanda's instructions. The hill was steep but okay with FWD. The outside of the property gave the authentic experience of a shipping container. The lot was mostly private but there were other lodges were near by. The view from the back of container was beautiful. We enjoyed the privacy of the hot tub and sitting by the firepit. The container was immaculate and just enough room for two people. The amenities were great allowing us to bring in just what we needed for a comfortable stay. There were no on site trails to hike but everything was less than a 10 min drive away. We would definitely return!

Perfect size for two people, beautiful view, quiet and peaceful, super clean (like brand new), hot tub was fantastic, easy to find using the great directions from the host, close to everywhere you’d want to explore plus great restaurants nearby. We were so at peace we didn’t want to leave! Hats off to the host this place is a gem, we left feeling relaxed and happy exactly what we needed!

Excellent communication from Amanda. Smelled clean and fresh every time we walked in. Stocked well for a 2 person stay. Hot tub and smokeless fire pit were great addition. Dish TV worked well. Highly recommend.

We chose this cabin for our honeymoon stay at red river gorge. It was very clean and just a cute little spot for just us two. We mainly just slept there because we hiked all day but it was great to come back to at the end of the day, sit in the hot tube and enjoy the outdoors!! Would 100% stay again!!

This Container Cabin was amazing. When you first see it, you may be leery but according to the owner, this is the look they were going for and it is cool. So, you step inside the container and it is not what you would expect..it was absolutely amazing and extremely clean. It looked brand new. I chatted with the owner via text and she was very helpful and extremely nice. The setting of the container cabin was beautiful. I loved waking up in the morning and going outside to sit in the chairs and drink my coffee while watching the sun come up. I would highly recommend this place!!! We will go back ourselves.

This was by far the nicest/cleanest VRBO property we've ever stayed in. Great communication from the host, super easy check-in/checkout. Everything exactly as described. This was a great little find, boasting both lovely views from the container and complete privacy. The property is very well maintained by the host, with all the amenities you could possibly need in addition with it being a cleanly space. The host was very accommodating and we would 100% visit again.

Could not have asked for a better stay!! The Container Den was everything we could have asked for and more!! So much so we even looked up costs to make our own. Very clean, amazing location and view. Amanda was the perfect host! We had everything we could need and she was so quick to respond. We went sight seeing and hiking. Enjoyed our evenings cooking on the grill, sat by fire and relaxed in the hot tub! Only thing i could say to future guests, be careful of the landscape trim as it could be a trip hazzard if not paying attention and not currently having an electric range, it does take some time to heat up. Nothing serious what so ever. Would recommended this to ANYONE!! 5 STARS ACROSS THE BOARD! Thank you amanda for sharinf your space and for making our honeymoon amazing!
