The Three Little Bears: Indoor Pool! VIEWS! S/Secluded, Theater, Games, Hot Tub

Overall this cabin was great! It was clean and tidy as most are. The view was nice and the drive up was easy in dry conditions. I will say though that, for the price point, there were a few things that could have been disclosed ahead of our stay. We looked forward to swimming in the pool with a fireplace going but it was inoperative which was known by the host because it was stated in the welcome book. The photos of this cabin also make it look like it’s kind of stand alone but it’s not. There is another cabin less than 40 feet away. We like a more secluded vacation cabin but we had a great time nonetheless. These are things that should be disclosed when you’re spending 5k for an accommodation.

We loved it. Pool was great. Hot tub was great. View was great. Beds were very comfortable. The owners were so awesome. Only complaint, and it's a small one is the top bedrooms were a little warm.

While staying at the cabin, the last night we were checking drawers as we packed up in the bedrooms and found a gun in nightstand by one of the beds. I called the after hours emergency line and they said they’d try to have someone call me back to have it removed. I never got a call back and called to check out the next morning and as I told the lady on the phone she had no idea about it. She was very sorry what happened and said she’d relay the info and have someone call me back. 2 and a half hours or so later a manager, Erin, calls me and just says “I was told I was supposed to call you” when I ask if she had been relayed the info on why she said no. I told her I’d have to call her back because I didn’t want to discuss the situation with my young kids in the car. I called her back a little later and as I told her the situation and how I was extremely unhappy both that it was even in the house and not discovered by the cleaning crew and also that they had no urgency to call me back just to communicate any information. She went on to say the police needed to remove the gun and that had been relayed to the police but as I mentioned to her, none of that was communicated to me and it would have been nice to have some urgency with the situation. We had a number of young kids in the house and I was nervous the rest of the time there with it in the house. The manager that I talked to really didn’t even seem to care that it happened and seemed so nonchalant about the whole thing as no big deal. Terribly disappointed as it just put a huge damper on the whole trip. I understand some things happen and even things like this but had they been handled properly this review would be different. I’ll never book with this management group again! There were a few other things like the hot tub had the hose stuck in it and running and overflowing when we got there and both of the coffee makers were broken. Those seemed to be small things I wouldn’t even have mentioned had it not been for the bigger issue here.

Would be easier to just get the check in instructions emailed

We were a group of 6 adults and 4 kids. However felt that the cabin was very small for the price they charge. Similar or better cabins have been rented by us at half the price. Also nothing exclusive about the cabin. None of the TVs remotes were provided except for the XFinity remotes, hence we couldn’t do any YouTube/Netflix etc. Also internet signal is very week / non existent in the bottom floor specially around pool or bunk beds so couldn’t really operate from there for longer time periods

Good communication and clean property.

Because of a pool heater issue we were unable to use the pool for 1 1/2 days. Otherwise we had a wonderful time. The view is amazing. Our family really enjoyed it.
