Stayed Jun 25, 2025I came here with my son (9), daughter (11) and fiancé for a trip to Teton and Yellowstone. Honestly fell in love with this ranch. Not only is it beautiful, peaceful, open and warm but when we first arrived Alex greeted us, showed us around and made us feel very welcomed. She was so wonderful and friendly. My daughter asks me to get her a horse now everyday. We would go down and hang out with the horses pretty much whenever we wanted to. Also the 3 cutest small pigs. I felt like I formed a relationship with some of the horses and got to know their personalities just by going down here and there throughout the day to feed them or pet them. There are also beautiful hiking trails right up the road. Without a doubt this place will always be such a good memory with my family that I’ll always cherish. Thank you Alex. I appreciate your hospitality and how well you treat your ranch.

Stayed Jul 2, 2023Trail Creek Ranch is the most beautiful property - and the Ritz was perfect for our few days in Wilson. The cabin was so charming, the linens were so nice (even our 11 year old son commented on the sheets!). Alex and crew were so warm and welcoming. We only wish we could have stayed longer. If we are lucky enough to return, we'd love to stay again!

Stayed Jul 17, 2022We loved this place, if we’re ever going back to area we’d definitely try to stay here. It’s got lots for kids to do, especially the horses and the pool which our kids loved. The atmosphere was great, met other lovely people. Location - easy to get to all areas.

Stayed Jul 1, 2021Beautiful ground and cabin. Comfortable beds, convenient location. Only complaint is that the listing didn’t adore that the second bedroom was at the top of a spiral staircase, which was problematic for my 3 year old. Otherwise, this was a perfect place to stay. Will definitely stay again.

Stayed Jun 18, 2017This is not a place that relies on 'snazzy' to be remarkable. Instead, it is located in a peaceful and beautiful area, remote enough to totally relax but still very convenient to both Wilson and Jackson. The cabins vary but we got a brief 'tour' of them all, and each is more than satisfactory in different ways. One heads-up: if preparing meals rather than eating out is critical, this is a challenge - minimal to non-existent kitchen facilities. Alex (and ALL of the staff) are totally accommodating and friendly without ever being intrusive. Being a working ranch with many horses boarded, activities surrounding that are fun to observe. Completely out of the ordinary - and a very welcome option at the end of a busy day exploring - is a fantastic in-ground pool. When asked for suggestions about activities or places to eat, Alex gave us instant suggestions, and whether for horseback riding, river rafting or a great breakfast place, we were never disappointed.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We stayed at the Ritz on our trip to Jackson/Grand Teton. Our plane didn't land until 10PM. Alex, the ranch's hostess/owner, had us text her when we landed. Then, she turned on the light and made up the futon for our daughter. She texted us to make sure we found it ok in the dark. She went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. The grounds are beautiful. There are horses, a beautiful barn, and a stream. I was worried that with other cabins on the premises it might be noisy but we never heard a peep. Slept with the windows open and enjoyed the cool mountain air. We are going to Yellowstone, but will return to Trail Creek Ranch later in the week to continue to explore Jackson/Tetons. Can't wait!
