The Perch, Fantastic Mtn Lake View! Very clean, Dogs Welcome.

Awesome view. Nice place to stay. Good host. Beds sort of old and uncomfortable. TVs pretty old and outdated. Big climb up to the place but that’s what makes the view awesome. Thought pets were included but that got added at the last minute. Overall would recommend.

Nice spacious but cozy cabin with beautiful views. The location was quiet and felt remote but wasn’t- easy access to restaurants and activities. Recommend.

Very nice place

As advertised - amazing views!Hostess was very responsive and helpful. Coffee pot stopped working after 2nd pot and hostess was quick to respond and brought a brand new one right over even brought over a few coupons from the area. Any questions we had, she responded very quickly, always. She also had plenty of great recommendations from places to eat to cities to visit and Waterfalls to visit. Plenty of space inside and out, for our needs. Fireplace was wonderful and really helped the ambiance of the stay. Driving to the cabin is typical steep mountain drive but is nicely paved and once you do it is not too bad. We had a standard suv and it was fine. Overall would recommend the Perch as a great option.

Very comfortable for 2 couples. Would be great for families too with 3 beds. Very nice cabin feel with wood burning fireplace and fabulous views.

Wonderful cabin on top of a mountain with a fantastic view of the surrounding area. Cabin was very clean, comfortable, all necessary amenities provided. Very quiet and peaceful yet close to many sites to see and experience. And best of all it is pet friendly, we and the 2 dogs had a a great time.

The view was so beautiful. The internet would not work on our phones no matter what we did. Tv was buffering and stopping all the time. Could up date chairs in the livingroom they were worn out and a little dirty. I could understand if it was a hunting cabin, but a place with a view so beautiful needs to look beautiful on the inside too.

This was our second stay here. Though the trees have grown up a bit, it still a great place to sit on the porch and see the lake and the mountains. Very quiet spot.

Found pubic hairs on sheets. Beds never swept under. Found a “roach joint” under bed while looking for my socks. Need better cleaning supplies. Dishes were dirty and countertops greasy. Fantastic view!

Enjoyed the cabin. It had everything we needed. It was quiet and peaceful. The view is so beautiful. We sat outside a lot enjoying the view. We would rent again. The only issue was the drive up was a little steap but the view is worth the drive.

Cabin is clean and spacious. Spent most of our time on the porch overlooking Lake Chatuge. The view is amazing. This was our second trip and will definitely be back!

Despite having to travel to Hiawassee for a funeral, our cabin rental was exactly what we needed. The stress and trauma of an unexpected loss while preparing a funeral can be daunting. The Perch is the perfect getaway spot. The views are amazing, the property is superb, and the peace is fabulous! Far enough away to be private, but close enough to food and entertainment. The perfect vacation getaway.

Amazing views from the back porch, dogs had plenty of room to roam, built a fire every night, perfect little log cabin stay.

The cabin and the view are really great. The Porch is a perfect spot to sit and admire the mountains, and the interior living spaces are generally cozy. The issue I had is how the managers (and there were seemingly multiple) made you feel as a guest. If you want a guest to feel welcome, then don't heap expectations on them, firehose them with long messages, and drop a bunch of fees. As many reviews as they have you'd think they would have learned by now how to make the whole thing seamless. Tell us what time the check-in is and then tell us the code. Easy right? Nope, they had a bunch of rules to get the entry code, including contacting them within a very narrow window or else... what? Oh and don't show up before 4:00 or else you'll be hit with a 25-50 fee. So you had to read their lengthy message before all of this to know you had to text them between 3:30 and 5:30. So we did text them at 5:35, because that is when we arrived and saw all of these messages. We had to wait for over 30min in the cold before someone got back to us. They also slapped a pet fee of 75 after the fact and is not noted on their listing. Regarding the beds, they have paper thin quilts, so definitely bring your own comforter. They also don't provide paper towels, because as she said so we can keep our rates down. They just need to do a better job at making a guest feel welcome and less like a burden or an annoyance, and in the least, provide warm beds!!

Such a beautiful property. The view is simply amazing. The house is very nice and had everything we needed to have a great stay. This was our second time at this property and I did not disappoint. We are hoping to make this a yearly vacation spot!

The porch was amazing. The bar height rocking chairs were a game changer! The cabin is great. Everything was as described. It’s a beautiful area to stay in. It’s quiet and pretty and the people are friendly! The only issue was linens and towels had an unpleasant musty odor to them and they should be replaced.

Wife and I booked this cabin for our anniversary and couldn't be more pleased. Beautiful views, very clean ,definitely will book again!!

Very nice and secluded. Roads are in great shape but, very narrow and a couple of tight turns. In my opinion pulling a trailer with ATVs or boat trailer up COULD be challenging for a number of people. Host is very easy to communicate with.

We love the serene, beautiful location! The cabin provided everything we needed! It was an ideal spot to visit all the places we wanted to see! Immediate response from owner to needs. Hiswasee is awesome place to be on Bell Mountain!
