The Mountain Man - Yellowstone and Cody Cabin with spectacular views

Stunning views during the day and night. Quick stop but really unique and unforgettable. Comfy beds and hot shower!

The cabin was nice and very clean but the beds were very uncomfortable and the pillows were terrible.

The views are incredible! Very clean,very modern.Would definitely recommend staying here.Has all the tools you need to cook.Im here when it's cold but there's a grill and a fire pit for you to use.Yellowstone is right up the road and Cody is the other way There's a small gas station right down the road.In the summer there's a restaurant on grounds.

The view from the property is absolutely stunning. Property itself was clean and cozy but it is attached to a private residence which we didn’t really like. Not that we had any problems at all, just a personal thing for us.

Very quiet and beautiful scenery. Beds weren’t the best and extra towels weren’t available.

It was clean and spacious and nice inside. Although we didn’t take advantage of all the amenities, it had everything as far as dishes and kitchen stuff. Tv and DVD player. Cody is a very nice area as well. Lots to do. White water rafting was fun. Horse trail rides Very pretty area.

Great location, enjoyed activities in Cody and Yellowstone good halfway spot to stay.

Visiting Yellowstone and Cody. Exceptional stay at the cabin..

Great place to base our visit to Yellowstone out of. Being on the East side, it is half way between Cody and Yellowstone East entrance. A great coffee bar and bar at entrance. Beautiful drive from Cody and tons of wildlife on the way to Yellowstone. We saw bears, bison, and elk within the first hour. Communication was great and it was clean.

The VRBO was as expected except for the VIEW at the kitchen counter table. Just the view was worth the trip. NO problems with owner or cabin-- IT's a 5 * for US!

Everything you need good views and good hosts

This is a great little property ideally located for visiting Yellowstone with beautiful mountain views. It is perfect get away spot for 1-2 couples or a couple of friends. The property was cozy and clean and the hosts were friendly and accommodating.

Place was great. Had everything you needed to enjoy your stay. Morning views of the mountains are breath taking. Brad and Erin were awesome hosts. Highly recommend booking this place. Thanks Brad and Erin.

The “cabin” was a little disappointing. It’s actually an addition to the owner’s house. There is only 2 soft chairs in the living room, and the spectacular view couldn’t be enjoyed while sitting, because the windows were too small and high. No TVs in the bedrooms, one of which has no windows, the other has a small A/C for the whole cabin, in it’s only window.The single bathroom was the smallest I’ve ever encountered outside a travel trailer. But, we were here to see Yellowstone, and the cabin sufficed. The owners are nice.

We had a wonderful time in Wyoming. It was nice being so close to the Yellowstone entrance and we truly enjoyed the area of where this cabin is! Cody was also about the same distance where we could enjoy that area also. Very convenient, the hosts were awesome, and the cabin was just what we needed.

The location was perfect for our family of four as it was our first trip to Yellowstone National Park. The Mountain Man cabin is the midpoint between the park entrance and the town of Cody, so that makes it extremely convenient. The cabin was perfect. I slept on the reclining sofa for medical reasons, which was more comfortable that the medical lift chair that I sleep on at home. I was told that the beds were very comfortable and everyone got good sleep. Kitchen had everything needed to make family meals and a dishwasher to help cleanup. It might not matter to some, but I am a tap water snob, and the tap water here was delicious. Brad and Erin were amazing hosts. They answered every question we threw at them about Yellowstone, local trails, wildlife, everyday life, restaurants, real estate, building codes. They also made sure we had everything we needed. And they were always available and always responded promptly.
