Stayed Jan 1, 1I have experienced the most wonderful stay, the hosts went above and beyond to help us get comfortable, we got helped with any request we had and just felt more than taken care of, even more than if we were staying with family! The location is relaxing and calming, romantic and offline totally. We didn’t want to leave! We had the breakfast and bbq package and there was so much food that we had plenty to eat! I am gluten free/coeliac and felt fully catered for. I appreciated all the attention to detail and consistent assistance throughout the stay. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Stayed Jan 1, 1A lovely place to stay, the vieuws are stunning, we were fortunate with the weather. Nice walks in the area, not to hard, and flat! No climbing! We will come back to explore Romney Marsh a bit more. And the shop is nirvana for knitters!

Stayed Jan 1, 1Really lovely location and set-up for a couple of days R&R away from the hustle and bustle. (Just a note if you're planning to bring food/drinks, the fridge is teeny-tiny!)

Stayed Jan 1, 1We had a lovely weekend staying at Romney Marsh Shepherd Hut. Seeing sheep and chickens wandering around the field was a treat! The breakfast and bbq boxes were delicious, and we were able to cook our dinners over the firepit. We also enjoyed a visit to a nearby winery. Would highly recommend!

Stayed Jan 1, 1We enjoyed every second in our lovely shepherd‘s hut. We loved being in the middle of the flock of sheep which we found extremely calming and relaxing. The hut is wonderfully decorated and eqipped with everything you might need. And a good starting point for hikes. A great time off!

Stayed Jan 1, 1We loved our one-night stay in the Lookerer. It was everything I hoped it would be. Space is obviously at a premium and as an older couple (mid 70's) we don't travel lightly, but we managed to cope with a small but carefully though out space. The bed was particularly comfortable, and the shower room/toilet was a revelation (I never imagined you would get such a good shower in a Shepherd's hut). We had the promised sheep all around us, and as each side of the hut has a window we really did feel we were right in the midst of them. Lovely open countryside with big skies. Arrival information and support was excellent.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969What an amazing stay very cosy and welcoming, everything you need is provided. I stayed for one night with my fiancé but could have been there for longer it feels so like home, the bbq/fire makes this place even more special to be outdoors, lenny the sheep is very friendly but the only one who likes any kind of attention the other sheep keep their distance, the chickens joined us in the morning what an unforgettable Experience we will be returning 100% , we also checked out the Christmas market recommended from the owner and it was great for something to do the following day with lots of handmade stuff to buy

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We arrived by taxi from Ashford Intl station after a speedy hop from London, no trouble at all to reach this tranquil destination. With an entire app of information sent earlier we were fully prepared and so excited to see everything this beautiful place had to offer. The Hut is so thoughtfully accommodated that we wanted for nothing at all - we were greeted by local treats and enjoyed beautifully scented, luxurious showers straight into fluffy bathrobes (jet lag was no match!) A sunset walk among the sheep (and a sweet visit from the littlest lamb!) brought us fully back to life after a long day of travel from the US and at night, rain lulled us to a very comfortable sleep. The temperatures in the Hut were always pleasant and we loved to feel the breezes and soft sunlight through the many windows - never claustrophobic in such a well-thought abode. We rented bikes to trot down to Dymchurch and had a lovely day of it. Do not miss out on the local breakfast box - what could be better than the freshest farm eggs with your local coffee? The host is so very thoughtful and kind. We were sad to leave - this retreat recharged us fully, and we now count ourselves lucky to have seen this beautiful corner of the world! Our sincere thanks. If you are looking for a clean, quiet, cozy experience free of complications and full of charm, we can highly recommend this delightful experience.
