The property was comfortable and adequate. It was well equipped with the necessities. Home was clean and well presented and the patio deck was nice.

Beautiful accommodations, spectacular view and very comfortable beds! Great restaurants and shopping in town. We really enjoyed our stay in Homer and would recommend to everyone to stay in the Lazy Moose at Hideway Cabins.

All in all, the place was exactly what we expected. Simple and clean, small and cozy, tiny bathroom, nothing fancy but overall nice. Note that there is only a tiny sliver of a view of the mountains from the deck and one bedroom, and that you only get the downstairs. There were extra clean towels available in the laundry room and the kitchen was stocked with coffee. The property manager was especially nice and had the extra bed all set up and ready for us when we arrived (since we had asked ahead of time about the extra bed). Such a pleasant surprise! Note that, when communicating by VRBO messaging, you need to refresh the page - we missed one of his messages by our mistake. The check-in and check-out were much simpler than expected. Make sure you ask for the code ahead of time.

In general everything was fine. We never got the WiFi password, after asking. Could use some new cookware, worn out. Good location and Homer is beautiful.

Good location. Saw a moose galloping through one side of the yard and then momma and baby moose in evening on the other side. Very comfortable. Great deck. Had everything we needed. close to the spit.

We had a great time at The Lazy Moose Hide Away Cabins. The camp hosts were kind and responsive. The cabin itself was clean and had all the amenities to have a comfy time. The big deck was great to have the kids play on and the short drive to town was extremely convenient. Very happy we chose to stay there, would use that space again:) thank you!

The lazy moose was clean, easy to find, quiet, and had everything we needed to get a shower, eat/cook some food, and have a good nights sleep.

The advertising for this property is not accurate.There is no view from the lower level (which the picture make you think different)No information inside the unit…I still haven’t received check out info and we’re gone.Nothing to wash dishes with…broken window shade, no washer/dryer like stated.

pictures show 2 bedrooms, one w/ a king and other w/ 2 twin beds. Description says king and king plus a queen in the living room. The one king bed was just two twins pushed together with king bedding. The other BR was two separate twin beds. The living room had a couch with reclining on each end. Bathroom was way smaller than the picture and my standard walker couldn't make it through the narrow door. Overall, no major issues, it was updated, clean and a great location overlooking Homer.

Very beautiful cabin with a great deck to sit out and enjoy the views. It was very clean and spacious and close to everything in Homer. Would definitely stay again!

Overall this was a great place to stay! Had pretty much everything we needed and rooms were spacious! Loved all the outdoor space! Only things I docked a star for was water wasn’t super strong in the shower and in the listing it was hard to tell how the rooms were set up. The description said different than what the pictures showed! In the end it was a king bed in 1 room and 2 single in the other room and that was perfect for our group! Would definitely stay here again!
