Stayed Dec 26, 2025Cabin was huge with tons of space. Loved the open floor plan. Definitely gives you the cabin feel!! Downstairs was fun!! Unfortuantley we only spent one day at the house, most days we were out and back late. The biggest problem we had was the heat and linens. We called and got directions sent but it just never worked like it should. On coldest day couldn't get above 65. They said the fire on it could affect thermostat but even on off, it wouldn't work correctly. The first morning we called about fitted sheets and I was told, they only did flat sheets to make the washing process easier and most companies in the area didn't offer fitted sheets. Our family has stayed at multiple places in the area through the years and have never come across that issue. The queen pull-out couches had fitted sheets in their pack so it was confusing why it could be provided for them but not the beds? We would have just packed some bc it was frustrating to have flat sheets that wouldn't stay on the bed. The last night we cooked a family meal and the area that had the beautiful long table, the light was broken. I was looking forward to eating there as a family (it was a selling feature when we booked). We were gone so much during the days & ate out every other evening, we didn't realize that set of lights was broken. We piled around the island and made it work. The parking is steep, which wasn't a problem but could be for some. I asked about it directly after booking and no one replied to me.

Stayed Oct 4, 2024They don’t have online checkin and gave us grief for running late really rude in the phone I believe the ladys name was Leanne she was terribly rude to us also if you use a visa debit card that direct deposits they hold your money for a week and then tell you you can use it and forced us to use a debit card 2 days before the trip we had a horrible time with timber tops and we will never use them again it was the most inconvenient part of our 3 day stay

Stayed Nov 10, 2023The house is beautiful with lots of nice amenities. There were a few minor issues, one bathroom didn’t have any toilet paper and we couldn’t figure out how to work the lights/fans in the living room. The first bedroom upstairs did not have any outlets in it’s attached bathroom. These issues were a minor inconvenience but would not prevent me from renting again. Roadside signs could’ve been better to assist in us finding the property but we didn’t get lost so wasn’t a big deal. The home was gorgeous though with plenty of room for everyone. We had 18 people in our group and definitely didn’t feel crowded. Plenty of beds and plenty of dining tables/chairs. Liked having ceiling fans in the bedrooms and loved the huge kitchen.

Stayed Aug 17, 2023Our group LOVED this cabin--once we got inside it (which was tricky--see below)! Just a few minutes from the Convention Center so we could come home for lunch & dinner, as we wished. We could live with the gravel single-lane drive though it was tricky when 2 cars met. But, it was FRUSTRATING & dangerous trying to park and maneuver on the very steep hill right in front of the cabin (you cannot ascertain the very steep nature of it from the pics). Any 2-wheel drive vehicles spun tires and were regularly throwing rock down the hill (making pot holes which made it even tougher the next day to climb up it). We would come back to this cabin EVERY YEAR for a week rental if the drive would be paved down to the bottom of the steep hill at least. I know this wouldn't be cheap, but it would dramatically improve the property overall. I asked the garbage man what he thought about the high-sloped gravel drive. He concurred that someone had built a beautiful cabin and then didn't finish the job when it came to the drive. Only other minor issue was the access code given for check-in only worked on the door on the back side of the building (not the first door you see on the lower level). Owner, please let me know if you plan to pave before Aug 2024 and our group will rent your place again for 1 week. Thanks!

Stayed Feb 15, 2023Our vacation was with our 3 daughters and their families. The cabin, which is actually a fantastic vacation home, was great. The only criticisms are that the water smells like sulfur, the water pressure wasn’t great for showers, and we should have been told there would only be one roll of TP per bathroom. When there’s 19 people that’s not adequate. If we would have known we would have brought extra. Thankfully the store was near us. There was also only 2 dish towels and only 2 hot pads. You better supply more you want to protect your gorgeous counters. Our 19 grandchildren loved it and there was plenty of space for all of us to be comfortable. It was convenient to the water park and all the other attractions.

Stayed Dec 30, 2022The house is very hide and no view at all. Beautiful house, BUT Not very clean and there is nothing to clean the sticky floor We find a pile of thrash at the door that it was picked up next day! after you tell me there is bears in the area and do not let thrash outside! the coffee maker was broken, A new one was sent next day but first day. No coffee! No thrash bags as it was listed as something I did not need to worry about. The dish washer was full of water, I was told it will be put on the list, but never was fixed. No condiments at all, Nothing,! This is my first time with VRBO so I never had that before! so bring everything! The house was nice and the ladies that answer the phone were at least supportive and always letting me know they will help me. But when I go on vacation I expect to be relaxed and not having to take care of so much details! Not very happy with the experience to be honest!

Stayed May 23, 2022This house was definitely comfortable for our 10-13 plus a toddler size group. The main issue is that there is no bathroom on the lower level for the two bedrooms so do take notice of that! Some beds were more comfortable than others, and ours didn’t use a fitted sheet so constantly had to re-tuck our sheet which was annoying! All in all, it absolutely served us well and I would recommend again!

Stayed Nov 5, 2021This place was everything I hoped for. Plenty of space for a large group with plenty of things to do. My favorite part is the kitchen with it's giant island. It's perfect for friends and family to gather around. Its also pretty easy to find on Google maps and is not to long of a drive from downtown Knoxville. 10/10
