Stayed Oct 5, 2025We were so excited to stay at this log cabin. We were able to relax and settle in. The accommodations were great. The only hiccup was some of the neighbors dogs walk the property. And having a senior dog that goes out a lot usually at night made it bit uneasy because we couldn’t see them in the dark.

Stayed Jul 18, 2025This was the most well-stocked rental property I’ve ever stayed in. It was very clean, and the owners were very responsive to messages. The layout didn’t quite match the description, but there were still more than enough beds for us. Overall, I would love to stay here again and highly recommend staying here!

Stayed May 12, 2025This cabin in the woods is definitely a cozy place to stay, iThe kitchen was stocked with everything you would need. The master bed was very comfortable & had beautiful views. I would definitely stay here again. The only thing I would note is the stairs are very steep to get onto the first floor, so it might not be a good place to go if you have trouble walking.

Stayed Dec 23, 2024We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Fabulous Blackhawk cabin for Christmas. The holiday decorations were lovely and the property was clean and well furnished. The location was convenient for our adult kids living in Denver to stay with us without a long drive and we enjoyed the proximity to Nederland with its shops and restaurants. Watching the Christmas Day snow fall through the large windows with a fire in the fireplace was magical!

Stayed Oct 12, 2024Beautiful property, just as portrait in the pictures. No front door, though. Always have to access through the garage or sliding glass door, which cant be locked from outside. Property owners are quick to respond to inquiries. Location is conveniently between Black Hawk and Nederland. The neighborhood is eclectic with lots of dogs on different properties, but for the most part quiet.
