I wanted to move in! It was so beautiful, charming, and comfortable. It had every amenity we could ask for! We were not disappointed!
Pleasant stay near the main town of Packwood. Place was very clean and nice overall. Very nice bathrooms, laundry units, and beds. However, Internet capability and Apple TV was not good. Hotel size bar soaps and shampoo would make a big difference since traveling with these items are not always possible.
This property is awesome and we can’t wait to come back. We met the neighbors across the street who have an amazing view of the mountain and the creek. Very friendly community ! The house is nice and decorated beautifully. The beds were so comfy. I was happy it was pet friendly and the rooms were big enough for her crate. Any problems were handled immediately or they were going to handle with repair man when we left. The owners communicated so quick (they don’t live in packwood). They had everything you could need in the kitchen. Don’t forget to bring baggies, tin foil, etc. as the local stores jack up the price a little bit. FWIW: The only bummer (but not their fault is that AT&T cell service is sketchy in Packwood so casting to their TV was challenging but it worked out. A
We absolutely loved our stay at this property. The home was clean and well stocked. Communication with the owners was excellent. I would definitely refer this property to anyone looking for an accommodation in Packwood! My family and I got to spend some quality time together and this property was perfect!
Very good
Wonderful time and comfortable home to stay in close to town Saw elk almost every evening, and enjoyed the town of Packwood and the people we met there
Great location for visit to Mt. Rainier. Packwood is a lovely little town, we had everything we needed for a short stay. Plenty of space and comfortable bedrooms for 4 adults and 4 teens.
Lovely home with games for kids, river park close by for water fun and close to Ranier park entrance.
Overall cleanliness was a problem for us. Dirty dishes in the dishwasher, grubby counters, deck and patio furniture were filthy, etc. showers and bathrooms were clean and nice and overall stay was nice, once we got kitchen clean and up to our standards. Would we stay here again? Yes, but I hope cleanliness becomes more of a priority.
This property suited our needs perfectly. Both mountains were easily accessible. We like to cook in, and, for the most part, the kitchen was well stocked. I would have rated the property higher but the dangerous hand railing to the back door caused me to lower the overall rating.
This house was absolutely perfect. It was clean and fully stocked with anything we needed in the kitchen. The beds were comfortable and the area was a great starting point each day. I’d highly recommend this house to anyone going to Packwood.
We had everything we needed. Had access to a fully stocked kitchen. Used the hot tub. We had a full view of Mt Rainier from the deck and she was was showing in full glory. Close to Packwood and 20 minutes from the park entrance. Lodge was quite spacious.
Good place to stay generally comfortable and accommodating. A few minor issues: limited place settings; could not figure out tv; if you are the kind of person who unpacks few places to put things; some furniture not very comfortable. Bear had raided garbage, we could not reach hosts and wound up cleaning it up ourselves.
We had a wonderful time skiing at White Pass and staying at the house in Packwood. Keep an eye out for elk they are beautiful and everywhere!
This was a perfect cabin for two families. It had everything we needed! Great proximity to White Pass!
This home is amazing! It's beautiful, in a great location and offered all the amenities our family needed for a great getaway. The hot tub is wonderful, the home is comfortable and well laid our for a large family stay in the snow. We highly recommend this home and will definitely visit again. Thank you!
Nice clean and well appointed cabin which fit our needs. Master bedroom was great. It is located in a neighborhood (vs. forest setting) but close to town. I would suggest that a flat and therefore safer location be made for the BBQ.
This cabin is cozy, comfortable and centrally located to amazing trails, food, and memories. The neighbors are closer than we imagined, resulting in a bit less privacy and a little more noise. Aside from that, it's an amazing family getaway that you won't regret!
Great home in a good location near town. The hot tub and indoor fire place were great to have.
Fires in the area were not a problem! We had great communication with the property manager and came 2 days late to be safe, receiving a partial refund for days lost. However once getting to the cabin the air quality was very good and we enjoyed being outside at the cabin or on the many hikes we took. The cabins was very comfortable and felt like home. If we visit again we will seek out the same cabin. Thank you!
Great location on a quiet street. Easy access to Mt. Rainier, which we enjoyed exploring very much! Small park with river access just down the road was an enjoyable surprise for our kids. Would definitely recommend!
Great place to rest and rejuvenate after days of hiking at Mt Rainier. The kids loved the game table, hot tub, river nearby and having separate bedrooms. The adults loved the coffee, comfortable beds, and the space to spread out.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Packwood at Elk Run Lodge! We spent our days at Mount Rainier National Park enjoying the beauty there and would return in the evening to the quiet of Packwood. The house was clean and well maintained. Thank you for sharing your home with us!
Overall was a nice experience
We really enjoyed our stay for a short weekend escape! It’s quiet and relaxing, with elk by in the mornings! We played board games on the rainy nights & explored the area some. It’d be nice to come in the summer & get in some hikes! Thanks again for such a cute A-frame to stay at!
House was nice, could use a little sprucing up, but overall met our needs.
