Stayed Jul 21, 2025This was our 3rd time staying at The Darling Cabin. The location is close to town, yet you enjoy the peacefulness of a cabin on the lake. The cabin is well stocked with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Bethany responds to your questions promptly. Check in and check out were a breeze. I highly recommend staying here. You won't be disappointed!

Stayed Jul 1, 2024My sister and I always meet up every summer and this is the place! Had everything we needed. Host was wonderful and always checked in with us. House is adorable. They did a really great job. Beds were amazing and loons every morning. Great deck for wine and apps along with the sunsets!

Stayed Jun 7, 2024We loved our stay at The Darling Cabin for a girls weekend! The cabin was so welcoming and was decorated so nicely. We could tell the owner put a lot of thought into making the cabin feel like home. The cabin was well stocked with everything we needed, and the cabin was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed using the paddle boards and the record player that was available! It was great to sit on the patio and enjoy Lake Darling. We all would definitely stay here again!

Stayed May 24, 2024We really enjoyed our stay at The Darling Cabin! The view of Lake Darling was absolutely beautiful, practically at our doorstep. You can tell the host put a lot of thought and care into the design, furnishings, amenities, and supplies. You can hear some traffic going by on the county road out front, but not in the Queen bedroom or main living area. The location is very convenient to town (Alexandria) and for exploring the areas beyond. We would definitely return for another cozy weekend getaway at this adorable cabin!
