Welcome to The Chalet! This 3 bedroom, 2 bath cabin is located in a quiet setting off of Lausanne Way, in the lower half of Tahoe Donner. Recently remodeled with new finishes throughout, this cozy space would be perfect for two small families or three couples.

Enter the home via a few steps up to the main entrance. Enter through a separated mud room area to the great room space. The open concept great room offers high vaulted ceilings, new furnishings, a flat screen tv with streamingoptions, a wood stove, engineered hardwood floors, a breakfast bar for three, and dining for six. The compact and efficient kitchen is equipped with granite countertops and new appliances. Two bedrooms are located on the main living floor and share a bath. Both are situated at the back of the home - a full/twin bunk room with twin trundle and a queen bedroom. They share a full bath with a bathtub/shower combo. Rounding out the main living space is a laundry room off the mud room and two sliding glass doors leading to a sunny front deck.

Journey up the stairs to the second floor loft and primary suite bedroom. The loft offers a queen size pull out. The primary bedroom is furnished with king size comforts and a dedicated workspace. The en suite bath is outfitted with a bathtub shower combo.

A one car garage with storage and an EV charger is available for your use.

For example, weather and harsh conditions have knocked out Wifi and the power before. While these instances are rare, we please ask that you are patient as these are things that we unfortunately cannot control. While we will try to accommodate all requests, we handle refunds for situations like this (power outages, appliances breaking, etc.) on a case by case basis.

There is no AC at this home. To keep the property cool, open the windows and sliders at night to let cool air in, then close the windows, doors and blinds when you leave for the day.

    We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. We had a golf trip with some friends for a couple of days. Very clean, well appointed cabin, with easy access in and out. Very short drive to several of our favorite courses. The host's communication was exemplary and very accommodating. The access to an EV charger was a plus to charge the electric vehicle one of our guests drove up. Would absolutely stay here again.

    Just as in the pictures, this is a charming and cozy cabin. We had two adults with two kids plus another friend who came by to hang out and it was the perfect size. Great updates to the kitchen and bedrooms, new bathroom plus the final upstairs bathroom update appears on the way. Good Apple TV set up, clean, organized decor and all the kitchen things one needs. Feels very lived in and cared for, not like a neglected old rental. The only suggestions were to maybe add an exhaust in the kitchen (we cooked bacon day 1 and it smelled like bacon for a while!) The ceiling fan wasn’t working so maybe that is the exhaust option? That was it! Lovely cabin and we would absolutely stay again - I can see why it would be a great ski lease!!!
