The host went out of her way to make the cabin have everything you could possibly need. The welcoming feeling is genuine, however the mattresses were unbearable to sleep on, and my hair and fingernails turned orange from the water.
Our family had such a wonderful time at the Cabin. This home is full of special touches, such as a pasta dinner for your first night, a s'mores basket and root beer floats in the fridge, My Dad was especially grateful fro the toothbrushes as he forgot his. Cindy has truly thought of everything. The bedrooms were spacious and everything is neat and comfy. We enjoyed the fire ring, the kayaks and row boat and secret room (great for meditating!). We are already planning our trip back here next year. It was a truly special.
nicely remodeled cabin
Our family of 4 really enjoyed our time at The Cabin. We spent many hours on the lake kayaking and fishing. The water temperature was cool for me but the kids didn’t mind. Cindy was very attentive. She answered messages quickly and we appreciated all of the s’mores ingredients they had ready for us on arrival. Would definitely stay here again!!
We enjoyed our stay very much. The owner was thoughtful having everything we needed for an enjoyable weekend. We especially liked the small touches— coffee and filters so that we had coffee without going to the grocery store, the fixings for s’mores that were provided and the two bottles of wine and spaghetti dinner that the owner provided. We had a long day of traveling and didn’t feel like grocery shopping so we’re thrilled with these things. The cabin is tastefully decorated and we made a fire to enjoy the outdoors. We also took the kayak and rowboat for a spin. We laughed a lot. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Cindy was responsive to us quickly when we needed to reach her.
This was a nice little place to stay. Exactly what I had in mind!
Great place for a get away! Well appointed cabin with excellent amenities.
Excellent home for a family getaway! Plenty of space to spread out. Upgraded kitchen and bathrooms. We stayed during a HOT 4th of July week and the lake breeze kept things cool. The host has thought of everything to make your stay extra special. We hope to be back again soon.
The Cabin was a wonderful spot for a girlfriend getaway. We were thrilled with the clean and comfortable cabin while enjoying the view of beautiful Loon Lake. The owners were excellent at communicating beforehand and were quick to respond to our questions once we arrived. What a nice surprise having a bottle of wine and fixings for spaghetti and s’mores waiting for us upon arrival. We highly recommend “The Cabin” to all. We hope to visit again someday soon.
The Cabin was everything we expected and more! Super Clean!!
