Stayed Nov 14, 2025Cute cabin but average communication with owner. There is more provided than listed, including keurig! The pool table isn't full size but still fun. Beds were very comfortable. Two miles on a country road (135) to get to the main road of 46 that takes you into town, IGA, etc.

Stayed Nov 9, 2025Cabin is on the way to Story, which is remote. Perfect for quiet, it snowed on us the first 2 days, which was nice to watch from the fireplace once we got it going! Directions on the mantel were useless.Text the Hostess for help, got no response, reached out to VRBO, and hours after checking in, FINALLY got fireplace working! I will also add, the bumper pool table is NOT bumper pool!! It is a childs pool table (small)The sticks were short, and one was missing the tip, the pool table, not level, but it was challenging to say the least! We needed a quick get-away and this fit the bill! We enjoyed our over all stay. Go the The Brown Co Inn and have a meal by the huge fireplace! It sure warmed us up. Never used the Hot tub, located a bit far from the door for comfort in a snowstorm! Would like to stay again when the weather is better for outdoor activities. Would have also been nice to have the firewood under cover, we would have had a fire outside, but it was all wet :(
