Boone, North Carolina
Location, location, location. The Cozy Cabin is truly special. You will be nestled in the woods with a babbling brook and peace and quiet, yet just 5 minutes to downtown Boone and 7 minutes to Blowing Rock, 5 minutes to Tweetsie Railroad, 10 minutes to App Ski. You will not spend valuable vacation time or gas driving! Our cabin can accomodate up to 5 with two bedrooms with attached baths and a queen air mattress. The Cozy Cabin is rustic, but completely up to date. There is a lovely sitting porch nestled up in the trees and kitchen is stocked with everything you could need for a meal in. This is the perfect jumping off point to all things Boone/Blowing Rock! Please note that the driveway is steep and AWD is recommended all year and absolutely necessary in the winter. If you have only rear wheel drive you will be most comfortable parking at the bottom. If you are not comfortable walking uphill in varying weather conditions or if you have physical limitations it would be in your best interest to consider a different location.

The description is accurate. It is very cozy, clean and comfortable for our four adults staying there or as well as two more adults visiting. There’s really nothing in the description that is deceitful in any way. It’s a lovely property.
We wanted to get the access code for the cabin before we reached the mountains. The mountains have spotty cell service. In the end it was not an issue. The cabin was very nice, we had no complaints.
Very clean, cozy and quiet. Perfect for our purpose!- fly fishing and football game!
House was super cute and scenery was great. We enjoyed relaxing on the porch.
Cabin was great with all the essentials. Very comfortable and excellent location. Will surely come back.
Enjoyed our stay and our time in Boone
Very clean / nice spot! Nicely appointed with enough cooking utensils, towels, etc. driveway is no joke and steep ( as many are in the mountainous area) so keep that in mind but stay here if you can!
We enjoyed our stay. The property was gorgeous and very cozy.
The cabin was nice and cozy, and the owners happened to be there when we checked in and have let us come in earlier than check in to drop off our luggage as the snow storm was moving in. We were very appreciative of that. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for our 10 day holiday stay, I just wished they’d had a roaring pan, but buying a foil pan did the job. The driveway is very steep, but the owner made sure to leave sand and salt for us to use in time of snow which helped a lot. It was the right size for our family and we enjoyed our stay.
The cabin was lovely and had everything you could ask for. The location was great. It was very scenic, but close to town.
Good
We were very pleased with our stay at the Cozy Cabin. It was very clean, comfortable and had everything that we needed for our trip to Boone and Tweetsie Railroad. We would recommend this cabin to our friends!
After having the owner say that the driveway was very steep, I thought we would be able to make up to the cabin. Well, we were not. In fact, after talking to one of the neighbors, they said that most people who rent the cabin, park at the bottom of the driveway. The cabin was very nice, well equipped and very clean. No complaints with the cabin. My wife and I are both 80 years old and were not able to walk up the driveway. I have no complaints with the owner or the cabin. I should have listened to the warning that a 4 wheel or all wheel vehicle was recommended.
The property is extremely clean and well maintained. Nice for a couple or small family. The drive was steep, as stated, but we managed it just fine. Beds comfy, nothing to complain about here.
The owner had a scheduling oversight but promptly contacted us and we worked out an arrangement we both were happy with. The house is a safe and cozy spot in the mountains. The neighborhood was very quiet. We would love to go back someday. The host even mailed my daughters pillow that was left behind.
Perfect size for 4 adults and 2 small children. Brought the grands to Tweetsie. Can hear Tweetsie whistle from cabin. Super close to town but tucked away in the trees. So peaceful. Loved the fire pit and Creek. Be mindful that 4 wheel or AWD is not a recommendation but a must! Can’t wait to stay here again!
Was the perfect place to stay for our trip to Tweetsie!
Cute, clean, well-appointed, functional, in order, stylish, fun - all good ways to describe this nice little cabin. Perched on the side of a decent slope, this place will give the occupants an exciting mountain adrenaline rush (especially if you are a flat-lander like us). That is what we wanted to experience while visiting the mountains and that is what you get to experience here. It was a charming, real cabin-like experience but one with class and luxury built in.
A nice clean place in a good location.
