This was my first solo trip and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The house was perfect and after a long day of hiking the hot tub hit the spot. The host was wonderful, checking in on my stay and all. I will definitely return.

Lovely cabin in the woods, off the beaten path so none of the typical park traffic is nearby, easy to find with GPS and the host's directions. Kitchenette was great for us to reheat meals we brought from home and make breakfast each morning.

Small, cozy, everything we needed. The hot tub worked great, the water was always hot for steamy showers and a nice bath. We had everything we needed for a weekend getaway.

Stay was great! The cabin was cozy and modern. Could have had more privacy on the back as shown in the listing but that wasn’t a huge issue. Otherwise great!

We had a fantastic couple of nights in this spacious cabin. It was supplied with everything we could need. And the decor was amazing, right down to the perfect Christmas tree in the living room. Thank you for an amazing stay!!

Everything was clean and the pictures matched everything in person. Great communication with host and I would recommend this place to anyone coming to see Hocking Hills or anyone that wants a small getaway. We were about 15 minutes from town and about 25 minutes from the Hocking Hills park. My only thing that I would mention to anyone staying here is that the cabins are kinda close together and our hot tub did not have the most privacy as the others.

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend getaway at the Blue Spruce! The cabin was peaceful, secluded, and provided the perfect retreat. The hot tub on the back deck was a highlight—perched perfectly to overlook a stunning view of trees in full fall colors. The provided amenities were excellent, including dishware, coffee, and a very comfortable bed. The Wi-Fi worked flawlessly, which was a pleasant surprise for such a remote location! For those looking to explore, there are charming shops and a variety of restaurants just a short drive away. A special mention goes to the Appalachian Art & Crafts Store—it’s an absolute must-visit! The 4-star rating on cleanliness was due to a few minor oversights in the cleaning schedule. While not a deal-breaker for us, it’s worth mentioning. Additionally, guests are required to take their trash to the dumpster upon checkout, something I haven’t encountered at other stays. Overall, we had a Five Star weekend and would absolutely love to return. Highly recommended for a relaxing and scenic getaway!

My main issue was with the hottub. It was not clean, the cabin was smaller then expected and the furniture wasnt comfortable. Deck super small. Feel like for the price they wont they could have done better.

Lovely secluded cabin. Wonderful setting and just what we wanted. However, It is not designed for people who enjoy cooking. Two skillets, no pots, no oven, no microwave. It was challenging to cook.

Amazing place we really enjoyed our stay there. Everything we need towels plates etc one down fall is no vent for the stove top so it got a little smoky in there but other than that would recommend it to others and possibly stay there again in the future.

Overall, the exterior and communal pavilion and grill areas were somewhat unkept, but the inside of the cabin was very clean, very well supplied, and had that just remodeled look. Although there were a couple of other cabins close, It still felt secluded and private.

This was a perfect spot for us to explore Hocking Hills for the first time! The cabin had everything we needed, and we really enjoyed our time there. It is definitely secluded and peaceful! It took us a bit to get to the places we wanted to go, but that was clearly listed online when I booked and we didn’t mind since we got to see more around this town. I love that this was pet friendly, and we would likely bring our dog if we come back again. The only negative part of our stay was that the comforter had dog hair (expected when you’re at a pet friendly cabin) and crumbs. I wondered if the comforter was washed in between guests, and my suspicion was valid when our checkout instructions were to strip the bed but leave the comforter. It grossed me out a bit. Overall a great stay!!
