The Bijou Retreat is a pet-friendly South Lake Tahoe cabin with 2 king ensuites, private hot tub, fenced yard, and easy access to Heavenly, beaches, and hiking.

This pet friendly log cabin with a fully fenced yard, includes two primary suites. Each equipped with a king memory foam mattress, blackout shades, and ensuite full bathroom. The cabin truly provides a clean, warm, and cozy atmosphere throughout.

Enjoy fast WiFi up to 500 Mbps, a workspace, smart TV, gas fireplace, kids’ toys, pack 'n play, and a fully stocked kitchen. Perfect for families, groups, and remote work. Unwind after a day of adventure in this cozy Tahoe retreat!<br>



We’re available as much or as little as guests prefer. We provide self check-in for convenience, but we’re always available to help with recommendations, questions, or anything needed during your stay in South Lake Tahoe.

Welcome to our vibrant South Lake Tahoe neighborhood! This area is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts and families alike:
• Within 5-7 minutes of Heavenly Resort, El Dorado Beach, Heavenly Village, and many top dining spots.
• Walking/ bike path runs near our home, accessible from our street.
• Meadow that offers views of Heavenly Resort and the surrounding mountains (just down the street).
• Well-maintained park featuring a host of activities (across from the meadow)
• Safeway, Whole Foods, and CVS are all within 1 mi of the cabin.


• Guests will have access to the entire home, except the garage/ storage area.
• Guest must let the host know if they are bringing animals ($100 pet fee per animal).

Late Checkout Policy:
• Standard checkout time: 10:00 am
• Late checkout requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance and are subject to availability.
• Fees for late checkout:
- Up to 1 hour: Complimentary (if available)
- 1–2 hours: $25
- 2–4 hours: 50% of the nightly rate
- More than 4 hours: Full additional night’s rate
- Failure to vacate by the agreed time without prior approval may result in additional charges.

Important:** Before you arrive you will be asked to complete guest verification through third-party provider, Truvi. This is done to ensure we are keeping up-to-date with rental regulations as well as providing both our guests and our properties with extra protection. Truvi will contact you via email and/or text to complete the verification. Please do so prior to arriving at the property to enable a quick and easy check-in process. You will also be given the choice between a security deposit or a non-refundable damage waiver.

Due to a local measure (Measure T) banning short term rentals in residential neighborhoods in South Lake Tahoe, we are prohibited from renting our cabin for less than 30 days at a time.

Please remember that you're staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action asap, but there is no one living on site 24/7.
