GUEST ACCESS:

- The day before your arrival we will message you with check-in details. We are happy to offer you Contact-less, Keyless check-in. Code is changed after check-out.

- The cabin is tucked away on a one-lane mountain road, about a half mile from Wears Valley Road/US Route 321—a true mountain retreat experience. The road includes a paved tight turn in the beginning of your drive, and the driveway has a gradual incline with a short, rugged stretch. Most of it is paved, but there is a small gravel section. While we’ve driven up many times in a standard car, minivan, and SUV without issue, a vehicle with a little extra clearance will be needed for those bumpy spots.

- Parking available for 3 cars MAX, though it is NOT motorcycle/trailer/camper friendly.

OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE:

ABSOLUTELY NO: SMOKING, PETS, PARTIES, DRUGS, OR UNAUTHORIZED FIRES (even candles). You may be asked to leave and charged a $300 fee (plus damages), thus forfeiting the entire payment for this reservation, if you break any of these rules:

NOTE: This is not the house for you if you are planning to have a party! We have neighbors that are full-time residents here and the quiet hours from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am are enforced.

NO SMOKING INSIDE OR ON DECK: Please refrain from smoking or vaping in the house or on the deck. A $300 cleaning fee will apply for any violations. Please use the designated smoking area near the grill and be sure to extinguish butts for safety purposes.

All guests must be 21+ (children with parents are allowed).

This cabin sleeps 6 people.

NO late check out or early check in. If you arrive early or depart late there will be a $100 charge per. Our cleaners need enough time to prepare cabins for the next guests and we appreciate your understanding. Please note that there is no daily housekeeping service.

No refunds for weather/natural disasters/power outages/other things that are beyond our control. We always recommend travel insurance for this reason.

Our cabin is treated for insects and pests on a regular basis. Nevertheless, it is in the woods and you will likely hear and see critters and insects. The roof is metal so you may hear a squirrel crawling on the roof or the rain - do not be alarmed. Although bear sightings are rare, if you encounter one during your stay whether in the park or near the cabin, do not feed it and keep your distance.

Pets are NOT allowed. If you sneak in a pet of any kind you will be charged a fee and you will be asked to leave without a refund.

The hot tub is for guests 21 and over only. Alcohol is not allowed near the hot tub. You are not allowed to use the hot tub if you have consumed alcohol or you are pregnant. Use the hot tub AT YOUR OWN RISK!

This cabin has 2 cameras for security purposes only. They are pointed towards the driveway and front door stairs. NO cameras inside the property. These cameras are in place for your protection. If you touch or tamper with the cameras you will be asked to leave the property immediately!

Please adhere to all agreements in the Rental Agreement.

We had a great time at the cabin. It is clean and very well maintained. We would highly recommend it. The owners are great with the communications. The mountain road to get to the cabin is interesting take it slow and you will have no issues in a SUV. Ground clearance in a low car could be a problem but I have a low riding SUV and had no issues. The cabin has a 14-50 plug outside so making charging your electric car a breeze. You will not be disappointed in booking this cabin.

Cabin was great. Good location - close enough to town but still secluded enough to feel like you were in the mountains. Cabin was stocked perfectly and the kitchen set up was very well thought out. Bedrooms were clean and cozy. Beds were very comfie! Bathroooms were very well lit and super clean as well. Host was very quick to communicate before and after check in. 5 outta 5 on the communication!!Beware of the road - large pot holes, would probably be best to have a large truck or 4 x 4. Not a deterrent just an FYI. Would rent again!!

This cabin was more than expected. When looking for places to stay for our visit I wanted a place that was not part of a sprawling community of cabins. It was perfect, on a nice quite road off of the beaten path wooded hillside, secluded and peaceful. The cabin had all the amenities as described by the owner and than some. I am not a chef but if I was I would have been pleased with all the utensils provided in the Kitchen. The extra bedding, quilts, pillows and air mattresses were other items you just don't get with some rentals. We enjoyed our quiet mornings and evenings and really enjoyed the mother Bear and her 2 cubs that were foraging on the road just outside of the cabin. Made my daughters trip. Overall the cabin was very clean, the owners very attentive and were available anytime you needed to communicate with a quick answer. They do care and want your stay to be fun, relaxing and enjoyable. We will definitely want to stay here again.

Cabin was great and amenities as described, didn’t get to spend as much time as we thought at the cabin as we ended up doing more in surrounding areas. Only complaint is the road to get in is a bit rough and tight, we did fine with a large SUV, but did get some light scratching from branches along side of car in a couple of spots, also had a few potholes from the recent rain and wash out. A small car following us (that ended up in a cabin a couple over), struggled a lot and couldn’t even make it up that driveway and just parked at roadway. Would just recommend having suv or truck

We really enjoyed our stay! The hosts, Vern and Hana, were very nice and very accommodating. Our family of 6 had plenty of room to stretch out and relax; and there were plenty of fun activities to keep us entertained as we made precious memories together! A great stay, at a great place, for a great price!

The cabin is great, our family of 5 was very comfortable and had a great time. Plenty of things to do…indoor and outdoor games, hot tub. Very clean and you can tell a lot of thought went into every detail. Only thing we wish we would have know was to expect the difficulty of getting to and from the cabin. Being in the wooded mountains was great, but the road leading to the property was pretty rough and it did make it so we had to plan our days to only come and go once since we were not sure how our minivan’s tires would hold up. Ultimately, a great, clean, and fun cabin experience, just not sure we would rebook due to the road getting to it.

Our family of 6 enjoyed our stay at the Dancing Bear cabin. House was clean and served us well. The roads leading to the cabin were a bit rough but that’s to be expected when staying in the mountains. Relaxing on the porch was my favorite. Even had a bear visitor our first night. The kids enjoyed the game room. The master bedroom view was really nice. Location was convenient to all the attractions.

Be sure to read about the driveway. I would not drive a low riding car. We were in a HD2500 so it was fine. THe house was perfect. Owners were so nice. Super easy to work with. Would definitely come back.

The cabin wasn’t terrible but there are a few things to note. There is no heat in the basement, where there is also no actual bed (just a sleeper sofa). Location wasn’t bad but please prepare yourself for the trip up to the cabin (one lane drive and steep) Water pressure in master bedroom wasn’t great but the bathroom was spacious. Hot tub was very nice along with the game room, which is actually the 3rd bedroom.

If you're looking for a remote cabin with pretty views, yet close to all the Pigion Forge action... this is the place for you. Our family of five ... no littles, only adult children... landed here for a long weekend just after Christmas. The road to get to the cabin is steep and windy, but that is clearly communicated by the host. There is plenty of room to spread out with two main bedrooms, three bathrooms and a gameroom downstairs. That third bedroom is a stretch, but there is a bathroom down there and a pull out couch. The cabin was very clean aside from an issue with some of the sheets not being clean to our liking. There were spares available, so everyone was able to sleep. The hosts are very accommodating and are excellent communicators. They want to you love their cabin as much as they do! They care about your experience, and it shows.

Since we can only have 1000 characters, I cannot put all the reasons this cabin wasn't a good fit for us. I also see past guests get rebutted comments. I don't have the time for that so I'll just say, we will not be returning and I'd recommend you research other cabins. I'd be more than happy to discuss with anyone who wants to. Unfortunately this was a disaster from the get go. Faults from both sides. Yes I'm taking accountability for our fault. I'll just leave this as, find somewhere else.

What a great property. Our family had a fabulous time at this property. In addition to all the Great Smoky Mountains had to offer, we found our self enjoying all the property offered as well. We utilized the hot tub and game room in the evenings. The property was clean, beautiful scenery and large decks where we also spent a lot of time. These memories will last a lifetime. Thank you for opening your wonderful property to others to enjoy.

Our stay here was perfect. Had plenty to do, from shooting pool to enjoying the hot tub we stayed busy. Our first 2 nights was a little rocky because we had a group of college kids up the hill from us and they were loud. Other than that I really had no other issues.
