Stayed Aug 1, 2025We had a wonderful stay at Bear’s Lair! The house is spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything you might need. Located in a stunning and peaceful area, it’s the perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature. The kitchen was absolutely beautiful and very well equipped — we were pleasantly surprised to find fresh coffee beans in the freezer for us to use. In the evenings, we loved relaxing in the cozy living room with its warm fireplace, which made it feel extra inviting.Communication with Alexis was smooth, professional, and very pleasant. As mentioned in the listing, there’s a bit of a climb to reach the house, but it’s absolutely worth it for the views and the serene surroundings.Thank you, Alexis, for this unforgettable experience!

Stayed Jan 24, 2025We had booked the weekend when the Palisades Fire was going. The entry road was closed the day before our stay. But opened up the next day. Due to the fact there were still high winds, fires were going and smoke was in the air, there was no cell coverage at the cabin combined with having a toddler and disabled senior we asked if we could reschedule for a different weekend. Request was denied so we simply did not go

Stayed Nov 23, 2024We tend to stay at Pine Mountain at least a couple times a year to hike and this is the best property we have stayed at yet. The design is not only beautiful but very functional for a family with teens. The only thing of note, that may be a negative for some, is the cabin has a steep staircase to get to the building. This definitely would be hard for some people to climb.

Stayed Oct 25, 2024We had such a great weekend at this home. It is beautifully decorated, very clean, and seems to be recently updated while still having a cabin-like feel. Amazing views from all balconies, gorgeous neighborhood for walking in nature, and cozy and comfortable home. We will definitely stay here again when coming to Pine Mountain Club!
