Right in front of the property, the Petting Zoo Tekapo offers a fun, hands-on experience with friendly animals like sheep, alpacas, and goats. It’s a great spot for families or anyone wanting to enjoy a bit of Kiwi farm life with beautiful lake and mountain views.

Take a scenic stroll to the lakefront, explore nearby walking trails, or visit iconic landmarks like the Church of the Good Shepherd and Tekapo Springs. Local cafés, shops, and restaurants are just a short drive away, offering a taste of the town’s charming hospitality.

A car is recommended to explore the area comfortably. Free parking is available on-site, and all main attractions — including the lakefront, Tekapo Springs, and town center — are only a few minutes’ drive away.
