Take It Easy | Spacious Cabin, Game Room, Hot Tub!

It was ok for what we needed. The movie room had 2 seats that were broke, and spider webs all over the outside. Did find 2 inside the cabin. Not the best of parking at all. Hot tub cover needs to be replaced.

Great proximity to everything. It could have been cleaner. Spider webs everywhere around the cabin and there were dead bugs in my shower. Ultimately a fine place to sleep at night. Everything needs updating. Couches very uncomfortable, old with springs pertruding, and seemed not so clean in the main living space. We didn't spend any time there. The pictures were a little deceiving because it looked like 3 bedrooms in the pictures but one was a loft with no privacy. There is no way 3 cars will fit safely in that small parking area. It is a very steep driveway with no space to turn around. Thank goodness we all came in one car. Again the pictures are deceiving. Also, it says 12 can sleep there, I counted 9 sleeping spaces with beds at best. Thanks

Very sketchy. We had problem after problem and reported it to them along the way and nothing was done to help or correct the problems. Advertised as a cabin with a security system to serve as added protection. Upon arrival, a security code was given to “disarm” the system. We were prepared to do that. When we walked in, the system was already disarmed. We didn’t think much of it. 2 or 3 nights into our stay, the security system started beeping constantly throughout the night and kept us up especially since we were in the loft. We couldn’t get it to stop, so we called the security company and all they needed was the address to help us. We gave them the address to the cabin and they said they didn’t have that address on file. The security system is a fake. The table was an absolute joke. Not what was advertised. When we walked into the cabin there was only 4 chairs at the table. 1 of the chairs the seat was not attached. We had to pull chairs from the outside porch to be able to eat as a family around the table and play games. Also, while playing board games the table collapsed on one end and bruised my sisters hand. The toilet seats shifted when sat on. Cob webs. Game tables don’t work. No bear proof bin for trash so we got to watch a bear tear up all our trash and had to pick it up the next day. They said they sent out an agent to the property to assist and nothing was done. All blinds are ripped/tore. No rugs in the house. Not very clean at all. Horrible smell. Don’t stay.

We really enjoyed the cabin. It was clean and very spacious. Beds were comfortable.

Nowhere in the description did it say that the driveway would be unaccommodating to a 15 passenger van. In fact, it says that it has room for three cars. When I rec’d access info it does note that 4x4 is recommended, especially in inclement weather. I emailed VTrips for more information & received NO response. Upon arrival to our rental, we carefully drove up the massive incline (easily 35-40°) expecting a substantial parking pad at the top given the notation re: 3 cars. We were horrified to find a very small pad and we struggled to safely get back down. After that - as we came and went we kept our van parked near the mouth of the driveway. The properties just adjacent to this driveway are disheveled, with numerous vehicles coming and going all day and night. While driving I had received a text stating that our entry code was changed to a different code than the one I’d been sent. As we tried to open the door with the new code, it would not work. I reached out via text to ask about the change and received no response then, either. I found the original info. We have rented 1-4 rental homes annually since 2003 (minus 2020) and consider ourselves very flexible with properties. We were disappointed with lack of communication, and the lack of information about the parking situation.

Close to dollywood. Property as described. Steep driveway. Could use some larger bakeware/cookware. Kids loved loft and theater room. Kids wished we had more time to just play at cabin. Hot tub great for end of day

Everything was great other than the driveway/parking. Very steep incline for driveway and parking was not ideal as it was slanted for the most part as well. Also, the door was not locked when we first arrived and the lock on the knob didn’t work either… sent message to the property management company. They responded but didn’t do anything about the problem. Overall I would stay again. Everything was provided, enough room for everyone to be comfortable and VERY convenient location!

The location of the cabin was great and close to the parkway! The kids loved having a loft all to themselves. The only downfall was that the internet was spotty and we had to use the hot spots of our phones. Other than that, everything would be rated 10+.

The drive way was absolutely terrible. We did not realize it was straight up hill and would possibly get stuck going up or down. The bedroom down stairs, on the main level, needs a new mattress. It has a big hole where someone has laid. When sleeping you fell off in the mattress hole. Other than these two things the trip and stay was perfect.

Loved how close the property was to everything. Just didn't like the driveway.
