Not what we expected Our stay with Park Side was less than what we expected. The Sycamore 12 had not been cleaned in who knows when. There was rat feces all on the floor in the cabinets and in all of the drawers. We did notify the main office of the issue and they came out and put out glue traps after the groceries we left on the the counter were ruined by the rat. At no time was any of the feces cleaned up by any one at Parkside nor was any kind of apology for the issues up to this point. After coming back in we noticed one of the glue traps missing and started looking for the missing trap which led to finding more than we expected. The HVAC duct behind the couch was completely missing and the hole was coved in trash from where the rats had been coming in and out, there is also a golf ball size hole behind the fridge. We had to use the ironing board to cover the hole behind the couch and glass behind the fridge. The maintenance department was informed the next morning of the issues and they informed the office that they needed to be taken care of. Later that day the large hole was fixed but not the one behind the fridge (the glass was still over the hole when we left) and still no word from Parkside. After all of these issues having to rebuy groceries, clean up rat feces and running back and forth to the main office to make sure someone was going to take care of the issue, this is by far the worst place we have stayed.

Cabin was amazing! Hot tub was great, deck was cozy. AC did go out, but they brought us an indoor A/C. Overall very nice.

The location. The cabin itself was nice but needs a little TLC.

The cabin is in a beautiful location on Dudley Creek and has a lot of potential. There is plenty of space to walk your furry pet, which we really appreciated. The bed itself was very comfortable, but the pillows were all different sizes and mostly flat.Unfortunately, there were several issues that affected our stay. The hot tub motor is extremely loud and produces a constant humming vibration. It runs continuously and is located right outside the head of the bed, making it hard to relax or sleep. The hot tub also only reached 98 degrees, which was especially disappointing in 20-degree weather. The bathtub does not drain properly, so water collects while showering and you end up standing in dirty water. Cleanliness could also be improved, particularly the floors and baseboards.Only four towels were provided, with no extra towels for hot tub use. The kitchen utensils were loosely thrown into a drawer with no organization. The refrigerator opens into the main hallway and hits the wall when opened, and there is no ice maker, so be sure to bring your own ice.Several of the blinds are broken and could use replacement. Overall, this is a beautiful cabin with great surroundings, but it needs updates to the interior, décor, and maintenance, along with some extra attention from housekeeping, to truly match its potential.

The cabin itself was charming and in a great location — peaceful, scenic, and exactly what we were looking for in a getaway. It had all the basic amenities we needed, and check-in was smooth. However, I had to knock off a couple stars because we found grass and dirt in the bed sheets when we arrived. It was disappointing and made us question how thoroughly the place had been cleaned before our stay. We had to request new sheets, which thankfully were brought to us fairly quickly, but it still put a damper on the first impression.Aside from that, the rest of the cabin was clean and cozy. With better attention to detail in housekeeping, this would easily be a 5-star experience.

Stream outside the back door was awesome. Off the busy main street of Gatlinburg but still convenient to everything. Beware parking cost in Gatlinburg when staying here. We went places that had their own parking lots

Loved listing to the rushing creek in the mornings with coffee and in the evening with some board games and cocktails. We made no plans, were there just to get away from the day to day routine. Only thing that is always a must when in Gatlinburg is having breakfast at pancake pantry.

As soon as we walked in, our feet were black. We had to take sanitizing wipes to the floor and it was still terrible. There were hair/dust balls everywhere, as soon as we pulled the comforter back, there was a huge hairball under the pillows. It didn’t look like the place had been cleaned in a year. We tried to get some pans out to cook breakfast and they were COVERED in mouse feces. All of the cabinets were covered in mouse feces. Bathroom was filthy. The worst place we have ever stayed in.

While check in was easy and it was close to everything it could have been cleaner. Looks as if they made the bed and ran a swiffer on the floor and called it clean. We were right behind the hotel and flapjacks restaurant. There was a big spotlight shining right in our eyes trying to sit in the hot tub. It was the perfect size for a couple.

Floors were very dirty i had to wear shoes the whole time. Pans were dirty with grease in them. The hot tub was luke warm at best. And the light from the hotel on the hill shines directly in your eyes at nite..its a cute little cabin but the cleaning crew doesnt seem to do much...please replace the mat in the bathtub its gross. Feel free to reach out with anymore questions..

We loved our cabin. The location was secluded enough but still conveniently located to all the major attractions. The creek behind the cabin was a peaceful way to wake up and listen to while having a cup of coffee. Everyone at Parkside Cabin Rentals was thorough and friendly! We plan to go back next soon!
