Swim Year-Round, Sip Fireside, Host Movie Nights, Play Pool & Soak in the Hot Tub - Mystic Timber

I want to start by saying that the check-in and check-out of this property was seamless and I have zero complaints about that. The cabin size and layout was perfect for us and our 3 grown children and their families. However, I was very disappointed in the condition we found this very nice cabin in. Everything was just dirty. Beers were left in the freezer and in the windowsills of the pool room, the floors and carpets/rugs had not been vacuumed, something had been spilled and was dried up on the end table, solo cups in the pool, hair all over the pool deck, and the lower floor where the game room was had been flooded to the point the property management had to send a professional to vacuum up all the water. We couldn’t use the pool table because the rug under it was soppy wet and we had to strap the pool door shut because it wouldn’t lock and we had 3 children in the cabin under 7. Because of the water and flooded downstairs, everything smelled very musty.

Cabin was in a great location and was get. Only critique would be that there were no kitchen start ups for clean up such as dish soap or dishwasher packet. Onky 1 dish towel and wash rag. No hand soap or hairdryers in bathrooms and no extra blankets for pull out sofa that we could find (sheets but no blankets). Overall would rent again but bring kitchen essentials.

The property was everything it was listed as. Clean, great location and lots of room.

This property is amazing. It’s close to everything! We loved having the pool, hot tub, and a pool table - we checked in on Friday and didn’t even need to leave over the weekend because the house has so much to do. Well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. We did have trouble getting the TVs to work in the living room and on the deck, but they worked fine in the bedrooms we tried. The only negative was that the hot tub was only four person (which seems small for such a large house) but mostly that it totally bleached all of our swimsuits.

The excellent: the pool and hot tub were used everyday! The arcade game in the basement was a huge hit! Loved that everyone pretty much had there own bedroom. The not so excellent: the HVAC system was not working properly. The pool room was set to 72 degrees and it was 97 degrees when we checked in. It took over 24 hours for someone to come look at it. Then the heat on the main floor wasn't working properly. It was set at 71 degrees and when we woke up, the temperature on the main floor was 59 degrees. I texted the office and received no response and no one ever came and fixed that. There were no oven mitts or kitchen towels. Housekeeping did bring those out two days later. Houses are VERY close together. If you want solitude, this is not the place for you. We did have a great time, but...we would not stay here again
