the cabin was nice but the veiw from the hot tub was poor because of the trees hot water was very poor coming out of the faucets drier did not get hot . driveway was very rough and not maintained , there was dust on the shelfs in the closets , could have been cleaned better , blankets have dirt spots on them and hair from other people

The cabin is beautiful, the view is amazing! It is quiet and private! The property is located in remote area and does list as requiring a 4-wheel drive, the lane is not near as bad as I anticipated after reading previous reviews but it is very easy to take wrong lane cause sign at bottom is not clearly marked and the wrong road is steep, loose gravel and is dangerous! Our Jeep slid off the road. Directions should be highlighted in check in instructions or put at top so people don’t miss them. And an arrow pointing to proper driveway would be very beneficial instead of just a sign at bottom of hill. Also, customer service after hours is less than helpful, the woman actually told me that she had no idea what to say because it was only an emergency line. We ended up having to pay for a hotel until the next day when we received info that helped us determine we were on the wrong road. Overall amazing place to stay but look for directions in email.

The access to this property is obviously shared by another tenet who doesn’t like that a cabin for rent is within feet of his property and won’t allow a driveway or landscaping to be completed. Sooooo WE NEVER MADE IT THROUGH THE FRONT DOOR. The road or driveway to the cabin is a death trap and looks so abandoned and creepy that even when we attempted to walk it, we turned around. Not only was it scary it was extremely long and we saw nothing that looked like a cabin was up there. It wasn’t til after I read the reviews and had reached out via message several times that I realized not only is there another occupant/trailer/cabin that looks even scarier or similar to a junk yard, and that dirt road was the actual access to the cabin because again it looked abandoned and we turned around. We ended up having to get a hotel room and stay for the weekend and ended up getting a message from the owner a day later telling us to reach out to Someone else. So no it was horrible!

Like I put on the title it was absolutely breathtaking, however I do wish the host would have told me that there was someone living in the camper that is an inch from the fence. That didn’t sit well with me so my boyfriend went to look around outside to make sure we were “safe.” We didn’t see anything suspicious. The next day the guy was outside and was not nice about us just looking around which i understand however someone SHOULD have let us know what we were about to be come up on. The picture don’t do this beautiful cabin justice, we were very please w the house itself.

There were a lot of things we liked about this cabin. It should be noted, first of all, that you absolutely will not be able to drive to this property without 4-wheel drive. The driveway off pavement is not a driveway at all, but rather a dirt trail (2/10 mile long) cut through the brush at a very steep incline. The neighboring property just before arriving at the cabin was so frighteningly junkyard-inspired that we initially thought we'd gotten the directions wrong, but once we actually arrived at the cabin we were happy that it feels mostly secluded and there is a bit of a fence separating the Swept Away cabin from the neighboring trailer. The cabin itself is lovely and the view breathtaking. It could do with some updates - some of the dishes are chipped, and the shower head needs to be replaced. The Master bath is so elegant and gorgeously appointed, it was a bit spoiled by having so little water pressure due to a corroded shower head. We loved morning caffeine on the back patio with the view of Pigeon Forge. Also loved the big TV . And the upstairs game loft was a really nice touch. Note: WiFi is not very good at all - barely even able to access email on a phone. For us, the biggest issue and the reason we lowered to 4 stars is the owner communication. We booked through VRBO, but just before we arrived the owners stopped using the VRBO app for communication nearly altogether. We received unsolicited text messages from several different numbers purporting to be the cabin owners, and several emails outside VRBO. We love the VRBO app because it contains all your info in one place, including owner communication. Trying to find which email had which instructions for entry, etc., was a bit frustrating. Once inside the cabin, we were encouraged to download yet another app to try to interact with our cabin's owners, and the last two messages we sent during our stay through VRBO's app were ignored. Overall, a lovely stay, and a beautiful spot if you plan ahead with a 4x4 to get to it. Just a couple of small things that could be improved.

The driveway was terrible, must have a 4 wheel drive to get up it and prob an experienced driver also If your not 25 or younger, or a triathlete the driveway could ruin your trip. We didn't let it ruin ours, the toilet never worked or the washing machine but everything else was top of the line. I took Berry the bear because of the toilet and washer cause I didn't ask for any refund. We had a great time and made some awesome memories

This cabin is lovely and has an amazing view of the valley where Pigeon Forge is located. We got to see some fireworks that were shot from Dollywood every evening. However, pay attention to the Foot Note in this listing saying that a 4 wheel drive vehicle is NECESSARY to access the cabin any time of year. I'm not certain that even a 4 wheel drive would make it up that driveway. We had to park at the bottom of the very long gravel drive and lug all our stuff up to the house in several loads. So, don't ignore that note... be prepared for a long/steep/gravel/pothole filled driveway. In addition to the driveway, we were disappointed in the cleanliness of the kitchen, dishes, pots and pans. There were very few pots and pans for cooking (when we rent a place like this, we plan to do most of our own cooking...) There were no basic kitchen food staples - no sugar/salt/pepper or spices of any kind. There was one small (and in very poor condition) frying pan that had been put away dirty, not even wiped out with a paper towel. One larger pot (also dirty) that wasn't flat on the bottom... a small sauce pan that was the best of the lot (but not clean). Silverware was plentiful and nice (and clean). There were enough bowls/plates/glasses but most of them were not very clean, so we ended up washing pretty much every dish before we used it. WiFi is available, but slow (due to the remote location of the property). All in all we had a nice time and the bed was comfortable... the view and deck were fabulous. But, if you don't want to add a difficult decent and return climb to the end of each trip, out of the cabin be prepared with a rugged 4 wheel drive vehicle, and bring whatever you need for cooking with you.

cabin and the views are amazing! only downside is the driveway which is steep and not in great condition, pool table has only one useable cue but except that cabin was amazing. Property next door with the RV doesnt look too good when you arrive but luckily for us no one was there. Overall great experience, highly recommend

Driveway is in bad shape and steep is an understatement. “Neighbor” property is extremely close and includes an RV to rent. Only one usable pool cue and small repairs that should be made. View is amazing
