Stayed Aug 28, 2025We enjoyed staying at this lovely cabin above Fontana Lake/ Almond, NC. It was very comfortable and we especially enjoyed the fire pit and the cozy porch swing. It is convenient to both Almond boat marina and Prince Boat marina. Pontooning with my cousin was great fun and hiking one afternoon at Deer Creek Trailhead- 3 glorious waterfalls!

Stayed Jul 20, 2025This cabin was everything we hoped for and more! It was exactly as described—super clean, spacious, and extremely well-stocked with everything you could possibly need. The host was incredibly kind and responsive, which made the entire experience stress-free. We especially loved the huge wraparound porch, the bed swing in the back, and nightly campfires with s’mores. The short walk to the lake was a great bonus. The peaceful setting, thoughtful touches, and roomy kitchen made it perfect for our group of 5 adults, a pre-teen, and two dogs. It truly felt like a home away from home—and the best cabin we’ve ever rented!

Stayed Jun 20, 2025The cabin was beautiful. It was the cleanest rental I have ever stayed in. The host was so thoughtful in making sure the cabin is well equipped with any amenities or utensils you could possibly need. The host was also very quick to respond to any messages and gave easy instructions. The cabin is located close to Fontana lake, less than 1/2 mile from Prince Boat Dock but is still secluded and very peaceful. Our family had an amazing time and loved all the cabin had to offer. We made memories we'll never forget and a lot of that had to do with how prepared the cabin had been made for guests. We did not have to worry about anything. We highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking to stay in this area.
