My 2 teenagers and our 12 year old had a wonderful time at this cozy cabin. For 5 busy days (gone all day in Pigeon Forge) we were all too happy to enjoy the many comforts of the cabin in the evenings. Tucked into the mountain (but only 10 minutes to the main road to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg), the cabin has 2 comfortable large beds plus a pull out sofa bed which was perfect for my 15 year old grandson. They played pool every night and the hot tub was a perfect way to end the night. Just be careful driving up the steep embarkment. Recommend daylight hours for best vision. Loved it!!
Not far from the pigeon forge parkway. The roads to get there are a little sketchy but the cabin itself was nice. Perfect for our weekend getaway.
If I were rating solely on a cute cabin that doesn’t make you do ridiculously intense cleaning before you leave on top of the cleaning fee as VRBO properties usually do, I’d give 5 stars. Owner communications, 5 stars. That being said, we left very disappointed in our stay. We booked this cabin to celebrate my husbands 53rd birthday. I wanted a nice trip away with a fireplace and hot tub, and this property fit the bill with two fireplaces, a hot tub, and privacy. Once we found the property (GPS is tricky) we found neither fireplace working. The hot tub was dirty with green algae on the inside walls. Thick dust on top of fridge. Cobwebs on dining room chandelier, lamps, and walls in master bedroom. Two of three lightbulbs in kitchen burnt out, and a burnt lampshade by bed in downstairs bedroom. The patio lights outside didn’t work, and only one porch light out front worked. We didn’t use the pool table because of the puddle of rain water on the tarp covering it. The owner said he would get someone out to fix the fireplaces which did finally happen - the last night we were there (the pilot lights were both out) - and told us that due to low water levels in the area that sediment was in the tank causing hot tub issues. Obviously he is misunderstanding what I was saying because sediment due to drought does not cause the horrible condition of the hot tub. Draining a hot tub without cleaning the tub does nothing. Overall, we were not able to use two of the main features we wanted, which we feel we paid for based on the listing and did not get. If your cleaners are telling you they drain and clean that after each visit, I assure you they aren’t. Having grown up in Tennessee, I know the difference between sediment, sulfur and iron deposits and that of low maintenance. This cabin is cute, laying in the hammock upstairs and listening to the rain was nice, but this property needs a deep clean, a tankless water heater, and better housekeeping and maintenance. For future visitors, the driveway and parking is very tricky; do not have a trailer attached and a truck is recommended.
Everything considered it was a very enjoyable and relaxing week. I wish there had been more room where the pool table was located. It was to cramped.
Great property with amazing views of the Smokey mountains ! Host was quick to respond to all our questions . Hot tub and pool table were a bonus Perfect location to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge
The cabin was perfect for family of four. Easy to get in and out. Loved the location as it leaves the feeling of seclusion but only minutes from Pigeon Forge.
The property is beautiful. Sitting on a steep hillside had its challenges as we were pulling a 16’ trailer hauling motorcycles. (Notify the host of this is you) All in all the experience was wonderful. We were comfortable in the privacy of our own space. Although we did not meet the hosts, they offer a beautiful place to stay and we knew we could reach them at any time.
The cabin was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay. The only thing I didn’t like about it was the steep driveway.
My daughter and I stayed here for a couple days for vacation, and we were pleasantly surprised. For a new owner cabin with no reviews, we were wary, but the cabin was very nice and well priced. The location was wonderful as it was private but only 10 minutes from Parkway. The hill going up to the cabin was tricky, but we got the hang of driving it quickly. The cabin seemed older, but it was very well maintained. There were some things that could be updated, but it didn’t take away from the experience. The host was easily contacted online and seemed nice. Overall, this was a beautiful cabin and we will be wanting to stay here again.
