The hosts really knew how to make us feel right at home! With a well-equipped kitchen, ample blankets, comfy beds, and a gorgeous sun room... it was perfection. The host even called us to advise there was a weather advisory in the coming days and how we could prepare. The creek view from the sunroom is breathtaking and peaceful. Only cons are there is no cellular service or high-speed Wi-Fi, but this is to no fault of the hosts. It's the mountains and the whole point of being there is to unplug and relax! (Just an FYI for remote workers like myself) 10/10 would recommend and we'll be back soon! Can't wait for the next stay.
Great place, wonderful house with so many cozy details!
We loved EVERYTHING about Cascading Creek! One of the best places we have ever stayed! This place has it all if you are looking for a restful peaceful cabin in the woods with a serene tranquil stream running through. It is the best stocked cabin with anything you could need and then some. They thought of everything! From outdoor furniture, propane fire pit, log fire pit, chairs by the stream, rockers and swing on the porch, a sunroom that lets you sit and watch the stream while you dream, 2 king-size beds and 2 doubles, fireplace, state of the art washer and dryer, a kitchen that lacks nothing, a excellent guide book that explains everything about the cabin and the surrounding area, little touches of personal things that make you feel at home, welcoming gift, all the equipment needed to make s'mores or roast marshmallows, and more! Heck, it even has a complete picnic basket for having a great picnick, or if you want to pick up a pizza in town, no problem because they even have a insulated pizza carrier. I mean they really thought of everything. We LOVED this cabin and plan on coming back next year. One of the other things we really liked is that it was centrally located to all the cute little towns we love to visit like Bryson City, Cherokee, Sylva, Dillsboro, and not far from Ashville either. We travel often but I don't think we have ever stayed in a place like this. I did not want to leave! I would give it more than 5 stars!
We loved this house so much, especially the sunroom overlooking the creek. We loved sitting there and watching our boys play. The beds were really comfortable, and the kitchen was the most well-equipped kitchen we’ve ever had in a rental house. We will be back for sure.
This home is so quiet. There was no one around and we could only hear the creek. The kids loved playing in it and exploring. The upstairs was a great oasis. The entire cabin was tastefully decorated and serene with so many personal touches. We had liners for the crock pot, fresh chocolate on arrival from one of the many amazing chocolate shops nearby, coffee, etc. Beds were so comfy and so many extra pillows and blankets. We will definitely return and have shared this gem with family and friends!! Perfect location for the things we enjoy doing in WNC.
