Suitable for a group of 8 to 10. Our guests stay at the cabin to escape from time and the desert or use it as a beautiful and relaxing base camp for hiking, biking, trekking, stargazing or drive just 15 minutes to Sedona town. Technical Details:
The cabin does not have wifi connection, as it requires microwave line-of-sight transmission, which does not work in the mountainous canyon area. We suggest to guests to use a wireless hotspot data device for internet. You can use your Cell Phone DATA to access wifi in the cabin. Otherwise the nearest WIFI is in Sedona downtown at Starbucks and Safeway. Most cell phone carriers allow you to make calls and receive texts in the area.
There is a land-line telephone provided in the cabin, that can be used for local and emergency numbers. Names and numbers of local contacts are provided in cabin for non-life threatening emergency. We advise bringing a calling card if you need to make long distance calls. All Directory Assistance calls are charged to guests, after the first two calls. There is a restaurant/grocery store located at Indian Gardens within 2-3 minutes drive. It is also the nearest location where you can get cell phone signal.
This is a perfect place to relax, rejuvenate and enjoy a 'digital detox' with an unplugged holiday to connect with your family, friends and nature.
-We suggest using the showers when the appliances such as dishwasher and washing are not running, as we are located in the canyons and have eco-friendly utilities.
-Outdoor barbecue grill works on a propane cylinder. If the cylinder runs out of propane, please refill the cylinder, and text/email us the receipt, we will reimburse you for the cost right away.
-If you have any questions or concerns, please inform us by text when you check-in, so we can take care of it at the beginning of your stay. Requests for refunds at the end of your stay is not guaranteed and subject to VRBO resolution policy. Thank you.

The neighborhood consists of small houses and villas, mostly inhabited by older residents of the area. Off of Highway 89-A, this area is nestled within Coconino National Forest, with a single access road.

I wish the property had air conditioning or maybe an ac unit in the bedrooms. It’s July and it was 103 during the day and nights were really hot and difficult to sleep. Other than that everything was great.

The property location was peaceful yet close to all the sites we wanted to explore. We loved having Oak Creek so easy to access. The grandchildren and I were able to walk and play in the creek daily.

Very spacious. Beautiful views from front facing windows looking at the mountain. A short walk to a nearby creek with beautiful landscape. A short drive or walk to many trail heads and very close to Slide Rock Park. Unfortunately we were unable to use the stove the entire time due to a malfunction reported to us by the owner. The owner made sure to call and text me to let me know the previous guests reported an issue with the stove and had the gas company come out who were unable to fix it so the owner asked us to not use the stove as it needed to be replaced. This was a bummer as we had planned a family dinner and couldn't use any of the food we brought to make this special meal. (We were not offered any credit or partial refund.) Regardless of that issue we still enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable, blankets were cozy and the 2 bathrooms were great.

We had the best stay ever ! The cabin is warm and cozy. We had a service dog with us and it was very dog friendly . We had a full kitchen and did make a pot of soup and chili during our stay. We stood outside at night and stargazed. We felt so special to be in such a beautiful friendly place. Our host Ken, was very attentive and answered all of our questions quickly. We had everything we needed. We had such a great time and stay that we can’t wait to plan a return visit . We highly recommend this charming , friendly and so warm cabin for a stay in magical Sedona .

Let me start by saying that our family had a great time despite our challenges with the property. This house is located in a quiet little neighborhood above oak creek. We played and fished in the creek every day and that made it well worth our time. The kids had a blast. The reality of the property is another story. The A/C (which is a requirement here in the summertime) is two broken down window units that can in no way cool this house. My husband made a few trips to the hardware store to make repairs so we could get any relief. The house was filthy. I did a deep clean upon arrival. Three hours of cleaning. I don't think the property had been used in a while. They approved pets which was a bonus but the yard is full of massive stickers so we drove the dogs back down to the valley and boarded them. The stickers are legit... multiple bike flat tires during the week. The house is really dark. We replaced several lightbulbs to use in the evening. The kids beds were broken and placed on cinder blocks for stability. It took the host two days to respond stating that my out of state ( which is AZ) area code threw him for a loop. Ugh. The well-stocked kitchen works if you're not really a cook. Very limited useful pots and pans. You will need to be creative if you're cooking more than one thing. On the night side...it's super dark at night. Some of the best star gazing around. If you want to be a little above a camping experience this could be your place.

Cute little cabin in Oak Creek, tucked back all the way at the end of the neighborhood. Beautiful views close to slide rock, Sedona and 20 minutes to Flagstaff. Everything was comfortable and provided, cell service is hit or miss, but there is Wi-Fi. Had a great time, very peaceful.

The property was nice although it was portrayed as a large private property but was actually in a sub division. The house had no central heating system with only a couple space heaters in the bedrooms. There was a wood burning stove but no wood to burn. They claimed to be pet friendly but had a sign on the fridge that said not to leave your pet alone in the house

Friends get together for a long weekend of hiking. We needed a cabin for a base camp near Sedona. This is very convenient for much of the hikes in and around the area. The neighborhood is quiet and secluded.
