Cabin is set back in pines from road a "no exit" dirt lane/cul-de-sac on approx a 2/3 acre lot. Traffic is limited to vehicles accessing Doc Holliday Lane cabins. Deer can be seen daily in the valley meadows in the morning and evening hours.
5 min to Duck Creek Village, 20 miles from Brian Head Ski Resort, 35 miles to Bryce Canyon Entrance, 20 minutes to Cedar Breaks, 5 min to Mountain ATV/OHV trails, 10 min to Mammoth Cave, 50 min to Pink Sand Dunes.
The Cabin has year round access. Cabin access and all roads are maintained year-round by county, city and the Cabin HOA.
All roads, and trails are easy access from the Cabin. All types of vehicles can drive the roads directly to the cabin. Low-level cars to large trucks, with the exception of winter months an AWD and 4WD vehicle is recommended, and required, if we have snow pack on the lane and driveway. Jeeps and all off-road vehicles are permitted on the cabin lane and surrounding roads and trails.
During the winter months, we can get quite a bit of snow. Although the cabin driveway is plowed regularly, and all highways and roads to the cabin are maintained year round, including the cabin lane, an AWD or 4WD vehicle is recommended in winter months. The Cabin driveway and upper parking are gravel base surfaces and the lane is graded dirt and will require more than a rear wheel drive vehicle if covered or packed with snow.
Parking is free and plentiful at the cabin. Upper level parking will fit 4-5 vehicles and the lower driveway parking will also fit 4-5 vehicles. Depending upon the size and length of vehicles.
Parking in front of the cabin on the lane is prohibited during winter months to allow snow plows to maintain the lane. If you do not own an AWD or 4WD drive vehicle, you will want to rent one in winters months when there has been recent snow storms and there is snow pack on the cabin lane and driveway.
If there is an expected snow storm the days of your scheduled travel, an AWD or 4WD vehicle is also recommended. Clearing snow from Highway 14 and surrounding roads and the cabin lane and driveway could take 12-24 hrs to clear depending upon the severity of the snow storm and expected levels of snow fall.

The cabin was clean, spacious, well-maintained and had a nice kitchen/great room area. The beds were all kings (except one) and we could find quiet areas when we needed time to ourselves. it was great. The Hosts (Mark & Annette) were accommodating and answered our texts relatively quickly. We enjoyed our time at this cabin and the nearby sites were breathtaking. Thank you for this fine family time at your cabin. Dave & Anna
What a perfect location for our sibling holiday gathering! It is rare to find a home with king sized beds in each room and plenty of space for 12 adults to relax, cook and eat together. Each bedroom is extra large with memory foam mattresses and shared bathrooms with the adjoining room. The photos don't show off how large the common areas are as there was plenty of room to relax on the couches with a large group. The huge ottoman was the perfect place to put a puzzle board to work on during the down time. The dining table expands to comfortably sit 12-14 adults. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need including formal and casual dinnerware for a large group and cooking supplies. The hosts were amazing and were able to give us a later check out time. Directions were perfect and the cabin was easy to find. We all agreed that we wished we could stay longer!
We just returned from a perfect Thanksgiving holiday at Shawn’s amazing cabin. The home is so well appointed, very clean, super comfortable and inviting. Our family of 15 had plenty of space to spread out and the dining room even accommodated all of us around the table with the leaves extended. The living room has the most incredible couch. We spent every night in there around the cozy fireplace and the big screen TV. The bedroom layout was perfect for our group. The main floor boasted the spacious master bedroom plus a hallway powder room that served as the communal restroom. On the top floor there were two very large bedrooms with a Jack & Jill bathroom between them. Perfect for two couples. The bottom floor served as the children’s quarters which they absolutely loved. They had their own large TV, a foosball table, lots of games as well as 4 additional bedrooms (two of which have a Jack & Jill a bathroom) and one additional hallway bathroom right outside the other two bedrooms. The front and back decks are just wonderful with plenty of room for everyone to sit with a cup of coffee and enjoy the view of the meadow (front deck). As for the location, we found it to be in the perfect spot to access the village & trails but far enough away from the 14 to still be quiet and serene. We loved that it wasn’t a through street so that kept vehicle traffic to a minimum. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!
My wife and I are no strangers to renting cabins/homes in Duck Creek. This year we decided to host a family gathering which included 7 married couples and 5 grandchildren. We weren't interested in the typical cabin that just fills a bedroom with bunkbeds so they can claim to sleep 20+. This place has 7 large bedrooms, 6 with king beds and 1 with a queen... Talk about comfort! There were ample mattresses for the grandchildren and plenty of room in all of the bedrooms. We actually had 4 campout with grandma and grandpa in the master suite and it was a breeze. Everything is new and the place is extremely well laid out. Having 20 people under one roof has never been so effortless. The fact that Shawn and Annette were perfect hosts was icing on the cake. If you are planning a large gathering anywhere near Duck Creek, this is the cabin you want!
Our family had an amazing time at this beautiful cabin! We have a family of 18 with ages ranging from 7-60 years old and we all were very comfortable in the cabin. Aside from the 7 bedrooms there were also 6 twin fold out beds that were perfect for the young kids, this helped a lot otherwise we would have had to bring air mattresses. It had all the necessary accommodations needed and was very clean! With a family of 18 showers was a bit of a challenge as the hot water didn’t last very long, but that is to be expected. The property owners were very responsive and gave some really good recommendations on activities to do in the area. We are so very happy that we were able to find this gem of a cabin and spend some amazing family time together exploring Duck Creek.
Such a beautiful place!!! Was perfect for 9 adults, rooms were beautifully decorated, comfortable and clean!!! Was a perfect space for us to visit three national parks. Loved being able to make family meals, BBQ was such a great addition! Can’t say enough how much we loved your cabin!
We held a family Father's Day retreat at this beautiful cabin and absolutely loved every minute of it. The cabin is quite luxurious, well furnished, and near several beautiful lakes, trails, and parks. The cabin has lots of space and is quite comfortable for lounging. The kitchen is well stocked and made preparing and enjoying meals a cinch. We hope to gather here again soon!
This was one of the best cabins we have ever stayed at. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. Very clean. Plenty of outdoor seating for our group of 16. Host was quick on answering any questions that I had, and even gave us directions to a couple hiking trails near the cabin. Great views. Highly recommend.
We stayed in Huckleberry holliday for a bday celebration. The cabin exceeded expectations from the time we pulled up. It was more of a Lodge, than a cabin. It's a new build, and the details were perfect. The main room was great for gathering, plenty of space to lounge on the extra-large couch, while some were playing games at the table. Kitchen had a large island where we served dinner each night. It was stocked with everything we needed, including an electric grill that came in handy for pancakes, and a blender for margaritas. Highly recommend spending time on the front porch around the propane firepit. The hosts were responsive and communicative.10 out of 10, if we return to this area, we will stay again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. The kitchen was very well stocked with plenty of room to seat probably 20 people at mealtimes. There was also a high chair. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and towels And toiletries for our large group ( up to 16 at times). The mattresses were very firm :). We brought our own pack and plays up for the babies as well as a baby gate. We had plenty of parking for a trailer and 4-5 large SUV’s. We snowmobiled, sledded, And cross-country skied. We ate lots of good food and played games. There are a few games in the downstairs closet but we brought up our own selection and a few puzzles as well. There were not really any toys for the toddlers so I would suggest to bring some with you if needed. The hosts were wonderful to work with and we would highly recommend this cabin.
We stayed at the cabin with our family for the weekend. Four couples and four grandkids, and there was plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. The cabin was amazing, furniture and decor are all brand new and modern. We took lots of family pictures. Shawn and Annette were amazing hosts and have kept constant communication regarding weather and road conditions prior to arrival. Check-in was easy. We will definitely be back.
Beautiful cabin, Christmas decor was so nice and hosts was very quick to respond. All the amenities we needed. If you stay, you’ll love it but if you’re coming in winter, make sure you have AWD. The street up to the cabin and the drive way can be a challenge. We couldn’t get our cars up there, even with chains. We drove an MDX, Highlander, and Sienna). Also, when you leave, you have to take all your trash down to the local dumpster a couple blocks away. Might be standard with rentals, but we didn’t know that. Other than that, it was perfect and the hosts was very attentive and friendly. The cabin itself is awesome.
