We had a great Thanksgiving here! The living area is cozy for 12 but the 5 bedrooms were very comfortable. Bring a few extra dish towels, bath towels & hot tub towels and you’ll be in good shape! Really enjoyed our stay.
This home was so amazing and accommodating for a big group. Every part of it was spotless clean, comfortable and private. I am already looking into dates for booking another stay at this property.
We had a fantastic weekend at Aska Lodge. The cabin had plenty of room for our group of 10 adults. The kitchen had a variety of utensils and cookwear along with various spices. It also had some small appliances and a K-Cup machine, so bring your pods. The game room downstairs has a few game consols, a card table and pool table. Everyone was fairly comfortable and had a great time! We would definitely return to this location!
Great house, plenty of room, very well laid out and beautiful. Actually got to see a Black Bear in the front yard. That was unbelievable. Had a few things happen that couldn't be helped, help came immediately to fix. We appreciate their quick response.
The cabin was nice although the downstairs basement smelled musky. The hot tub is dated and could use some tlc.The upstairs bedroom with the two queen beds are slanted I'm not sure if it was because the frames were broken or the top floor wasnt level but the beds were tilted.Floors were loud in the same room with 2 beds. For the price I would not recommend this cabin.Great mountain view and very high up!
great location. Beautiful sunrise. Our group of 10 had a great birthday weekend in the woods. We had plenty of space and really enjoyed the hot tub, pool table and sitting by the fire. The only negative we have about this place is the barstools and kitchen chairs having loose legs. We tightened most of them for the next group :) wonderful experience. Highly recommended for a larger group! Tons of blankets, which were ALL UTILIZED.
The property was amazing! It was beautiful organized on the inside and well accommodating. There’s only one con…I wish the property would have warned us about parking. We drive a 12 passenger van up and it was a nightmare getting on and off the property. There was no room to turn around or to barely park. Otherwise, 5 stars.
My friends and I stayed here for a long weekend and loved the views and the house overall!
The home is beautiful and a great location. My one complaint would be that the first day we were there the septic tank backed up into the downstairs bathroom coming out of the toilet and shower drain. Once it happened a second time we just decided not to use that bathroom. Both times I had to clean up the excrement that had backed up and it made it challenging being down a bathroom and shower for the trip, especially considering there are sleeping arrangements for 6 downstairs and all 6 people had to come upstairs to use a working bathroom and shower. I am pretty laid back about things and being that it was over Christmas it was difficult to get someone out to remedy the situation...which I completely understand. Someone did come out the day before we checked out and he thought the septic just needed to be pumped. Since we lost the use of one of the bathrooms for the week I asked if they would give me a 10% discount/refund on the stay. I personally own rental properties and if one of my tenants ran into this situation I would certainly give some form of discount for their trouble of the cleanup and the loss of one of the bathrooms. When I asked the property manager if they would be doing anything like that they firmly indicated they would not. I found this surprising quite honestly as I didn't think this an unreasonable request. At any rate, it is a really cool home and great views from the deck. I would just recommend ensuring the septic tank has been pumped recently before you get there.
Beautiful cabin. We will definitely be back!
Met up with family members in this small GA mountains town. Enjoyed family time in the cabin playing pool, watching movies, family meals, and playing games. During the day we enjoyed the outdoors by hiking among the many trails.
Honestly, I can’t say enough how much we enjoyed this cabin. It was incredible
This house is beautiful and very well stocked - had everything we needed for an extended family vacation. Easy to locate with excellent check-in process. Everything is well labeled so easy to find with very clear operating instructions. House was incredibly clean as well. The only potential issue is that this house does not have a generator which surprised me for the size/quality of the property. We lost power (which also means no water) for about 6 hours. Wasn't the end of the world, but definitely an inconvenience. We called to report to property management and were told the power company was aware and working on it. We had to call back a couple more times to attempt to get updates and eventually just asked for the power company number to communicate directly with them. I know that the management company can't fix the power, but I would have appreciated a little more proactive behavior to provide us with updates since we had small children in our group and lack of power/water meant we couldn't fix dinner, take showers, etc. and we needed to make decisions on whether or not to stick it out or go home. But overall, great house.
We had 2 families with young kids staying in the cabin. We had a fabulous time the house was so great. Bottom level has the 2 bunk rooms, mid level with the kitchen has the main master bedroom that is set up so nice and upstairs has a second master and the room with 2 large beds. The views from the cabin are breathtaking and you are the last house at the top of the mountain. The bottom level has all the entertainment you need games, puzzles, wii, pool table just to name a few things. Such a great home away from home. Couple of things to make note of: Lots of spiders are outside on the deck. We had to use a broom to get spider webs out of main walking areas. The house is located at the top of a road that is partially gravel and steep. We had a mini van and never had a problem though. The stairs inside the cabin are steep. You can not access the loft area in the bedrooms.
Property was beautiful. Many things around to do, but still very secluded.
We had such a great time at this property and felt right at home! The beds were all super comfy and there was plenty of indoor as well as outdoor space to enjoy! Kitchen was well equipped and the views from the house were absolutely spectacular!
