We loved the cabin. We qush we could have been able to light a fire in the fire pit. The couch was not comfortable as a bed.
Overall, we had a great stay at this cabin! It was the perfect location to explore both Zion and Bryce. We were planning to check out Cedar Breaks National Monument as well but it is closed in the winter. The cabin itself was great. It’s a little small but worked well for our family with a pullout bed in the living area. But would probably be too tight for four adults. The kitchen was well stocked and had the best set of knives I’ve ever seen in a rental! I’ve started traveling with my own knives because they are usually so garbage in VRBOs but it was totally unnecessary here. Two minor drawbacks though: first, the communications from the property management company could have been better. I felt like I was only getting 3/4 of the info I needed and often not in a timely manner. For example, I was supposed to get an email about check out procedures but didn’t receive that until after we’d left. Second, the WiFi was AWFUL. Obviously, we didn’t rent a cabin in the woods to sit around and watch Netflix all day. But with a three year old, it’s nice to be able to relax with a movie after hiking all day. It was completely out the first day there. They sent someone out to fix it and it worked for one more day and then was off and on the rest of the trip. Not a huge deal for us but if you are planning to work remotely, this property would not be a good choice. But overall, we had a great stay!
We loved our stay in duck creek would absolutely stay there again. I recommend a 4 wheel drive as driveways can be a little tough in a car!!! Clean. Well equipped a great getaway!!! The property manager was amazing and communicated with us amazingly on one minor issue we had!! You will love this place!!!
Before arrival we had tried to reach out via the Vrbo portal to see if a truck and 12ft utility trailer would fit on or up the driveway! With no response we hoped that we would fit. Upon arrival the two driveways are incredibly steep and I would suggest 4WD to traverse them safely. There is a sign that also states that on the upper driveway. Had to put the truck in 4 wheel low to pull the trailer carrying my RZR up the steeper driveway. Once to the top of the driveway we noticed the access for the septic tank that took up about 3 ft of this driveway. After finally getting the trailer and RZR situated safely we went inside the cabin. The cabin was very clean and the porch was an added touch! The pictures don’t do it justice. Once inside and unloaded everything was great. That was until we went to bed. The full bed located in the single room was not big enough for two adults. Mind you I am not tiny but I’m not extra hefty. My gf and I had some trouble sleeping in this smaller bed both nights of our stay. Would also like to note that the shower is extremely small, that the size of an RV shower if you’ve had the privilege of experiencing one. It’s located right next to the washer and drier where you have to cirque du soleil you way into the shower! Everything was labeled and easy to understand. Even noting extreme caution on the hot water at both the kitchen and bathroom sinks. The interior of the cabin was fantastic. Great for 2 people only.
We in get way from work! Thank you so very much ?
The cabin was very clean, appreciated that listing specified pets were not allowed ( I am very allergic). Easy to get a hold of someone when a minor issue came up. Upper driveway did need 4wd or a larger vehicle to get up. Lower driveway it was helpful, but not necessary ( but was very steep on the exit). The cabin was small, but perfect for what we needed.
We enjoyed our stay. The cabin could have been cleaner tho. Be aware that you need a 4 wheel drive vehicle to be able to access the back door at ground level otherwise you'll have to climb a 12-15 step stairway to get in the door. Be careful at the foot of the bed not to bump the footboard corner post with you shin. It's hidden under the bedspread. It was nice having a washer and dryer in the cabin. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots and pans. Every spice you could want was there, too. There's a nice big refrigerator with an ice maker, too.
Newer place. Very clean.
Our stay at Strawberry Patch was fantastic! The home was very clean and had everything that we needed. We enjoyed the stunning mountain views in the morning and evening. Strawberry Patch was a 3-4 minute drive from the shops and eateries in Duck Creek Village. Strawberry Patch offered us the perfect getaway!
A very nice cabin in the woods. Close to nature. Cabin has all you need. Great fire pit area and front porch. Very quiet and peaceful. Great stay!
We planned our trip very last minute and stumbled upon this property so we had no idea what to expect. We truly lucked out. The property was the perfect distance from both Bryce and Zion. With the Zion shuttle tickets being so hard to get we were able to pivot to Bryce on the days we couldn’t get a pass. The house was cozy and had a mix of homey touches with perfect amenities. The outside space was a perfect way to unwind after a long day of hiking and the kitchen table was perfect for a big dinner after hiking. As far as directions, trust the details they give you because if you trust the GPS you’ll have some trouble. Overall great experience and looking forward to coming back.
