This was the best cabin we have stayed in ! We have rented a cabin in the moutains twice a year for 7 years and it truly was EVERYTHING we like in a cabin. Beautiful views of the changing leaves and an artesian well out front. The best porch rocker too! it has an inground hot tub and a fire pit. You are able to walk the trail in the woods and enjoy peace and quiet. There is only one TV in the cabin and only plays videos but that was a wonderful plus because it kept us from just sitting in front of the TV on our trip. We talked and just enjoyed each other. The rock wall and other rock accents were beautiful around the cabin. There was no mountain view but the view around the cabin was beautiful! Just a short distance from town, trails and mountain views. It truly is a storybook cabin! We really enjoyed our stay. thanks for allowing us to stay at your place. It would be perfect for a couple, small family or two couples. I really enjoyed my 60th birthday get-a-way!
Wow is all I can say about this cabin!! We came for a romantic stay and it was that and then some! The town is cool and the cabin is a low key paradise. We will return asap.
If you are looking for a quiet out of the way place to stay this is your cabin in the mountains. Pros of this cabin, you truly are away from it all! You can hike up the mountain right outside your cabin door. Lots of dishes, pots, pans, etc. for your cooking needs. Even has a Kruig & coffee pot. Full size washer and dryer are a bonus! The sound of the creek make it extra nice while rocking on the rocking chairs. Cons of the cabin. It doesn’t have WiFi and poor cellular reception. Only one TV with no internet, just some older DVD’s. This was not an issue for us other than we wanted to download some movies for our trip back home. The beds and pillows are not very comfortable. But my biggest complaint is that you have a chore list of things you must do before you leave even though you pay a cleaning fee. The worst is taking the trash to the trash facility. I’d happily pay extra to “tidy up” and leave.
Cabin felt isolated from general population. Good or bad depending on your opinion.
Really enjoyed our stay, including the hot tub soak tub and sauna. It was 2 70 270 something for first class right? The train ride yeah
We had to leave a day early due to a family emergency and emailed the host. Is there anyway to get a refund or insurance claim?!
Did absolutely nothing. The whole point.
This was a great location and vacation spot Would be great for a small family or a couple We traveled here for our honeymoon and it was an absolute magic place. It was safe and snug and easy to contact Valerie. Use the provided directions instead of GPS, especially if arriving at night. Go see the elk at the park!! This stay was a magical space.
The cabin was perfect for our goal of finding peace and relaxation. Enjoyed the hot tub, campfire and morning coffee on the porch.
This cabin was located on a beautiful piece of property, remote yet close to town. The stream running through the property was a joy to listen to every day. The cabin size was good for our family of four. With only one shower and one bedroom with a door, it may not be the best option for two couples but it was great for our little family. The hot tub was clean, and the kitchen was well stocked. The road to the cabin was paved and not too curvy or steep. We will likely return!
Property quiet and secluded. Enjoyed the hot tub while the snow was falling. Lots of thing to do within driving distance. Would absolutely recommend.
We had a lovely time. Beautiful cabin providing privacy and rest.
