The property manager was great, she was a problem solver!
The cabin was beautiful with all the amenities necessary to feel like home away from home. Fresh snow made the stay feel magical and the cabin was very cozy.
My fiance and I stayed here to go skiing at Cooper and it was perfect. Lots of room and I just love the cute kitchen! Thanks again
Overall we had a great time. It was very warm, clean, and spacious. It would be nice to have pepper and not have to wash sheets, do dishes, and take out trash for the price of the stay. Also we could not ever get ahold of anyone. When I wrote a question it was never acknowledged or answered.
Cabin was excellent, weather was perfect, snowed our last day. Pond was great!
LOVED this cabin! Morning views of the pond, lots of trees, tucked in a quiet neighborhood. Everything we needed in the kitchen for meals. Upstairs is roomy but the bathroom is a little tight. Perfect location to access all the hikes we had planned. Easy drive to Minturn or BV. Would absolutely stay again. My friends couldn’t believe this was in our budget ❤️
One of us had stayed before, so a repeat visit for them. Short drive from downtown Leadville. Very well maintained home with all kitchenware you may need, and it's all very clean! A tidy, well loved cabin. Deck overlooking pond is beautiful, we love the light and reflection. Quiet neighborhood. Would return for sure! One small caveat, we found difficulty with streaming. We were able to text and check email from phones, so that works!
This cabin met our expectations. We did not receive last minute e-mails. The kitchen and bath need some maintenance . Setting was perfect for us
Thanks from KS to CO
Overall it is a pleasant peaceful location and cabin. As you consider this cabin for your vacation, realize that the pictures are deceiving. There is a cupboard door and drawer face missing, the outside of the cabin is in desperate need of some paint and stain, there are neighbors close by, you may not use the fire pit or canoe, there are water stains on the ceiling and one wall, the fireplace is tiny, there isn't easy access to the lake and no real place to sit down by the lake. The pictures on the listing do not reveal these things. You do, however, have beautiful views of the lake the cabin has good room. When fixed up this will be a great destination, but it needs someone to stop and make some repairs and pay attention to the details of the place and your stay.
gorgeous
Nice place overall. It had snowed the day we got there; the road in was barely plowed and it was difficult to get to the property. I suggest really good snow tires if you are arriving in weather. - not the property's fault. The only inconvenience was the entryway. It brings you directly into the kitchen. That door area becomes congested, The kitchen is adequate but outdated. Otherwise really wonderful.
When we arrived at the cabin it looked as if someone previously had ripped off the metal cabinets in the kitchen and dented all the cabinets. There were multiple power cable lines running in and out of the house which definitely violates fire code and is a fire hazard. The deck is structurally unsound, we were too scared to even go out on it as it looks pretty rotted through. The check in process and the town of leadville was superb the property not so much.
Is a perfect cabin for a small family, is in a real nice place, I recommend it
This was the perfect place for our little family! We really enjoyed our stay! :)
Loved this cabin and property on this beautiful pond. Very cozy inside after exploring the mountains and had fun with some fishing in the morning! Would definitely come back!
Not fancy, but well equipped for cooking. Comfy living room and deck in a quiet location. 2 full bedrooms w/ queen beds and separate baths. 10 minutes from downtown Leadville and from Tennessee Pass, so very convenient but well off the highway and reasonably quiet. The pond view is obscured by trees, but not completely.
The house was clean, neat, warm and comfortable. But there were some glaring problems. The yard was overgrown with tall, unsightly weeds and the kitchen cabinets were in bad shape with missing cabinet doors and a draw that was missing its from and therefore unusable. Then there were little things that spelled neglect. Nine lights in the kitchen, 4 burnt out, one broken. No working clocks. An alarm clock by each bed would be nice and replace the non-working mantle clock .No hand rail on carpeted and narrow treaded stairs. No hook in upstairs bathroom to hang a bath towel. A lamp is needed on other side of couch. Broken drain plug in downstairs bathroom sink. Many burnt out light bulbs. Right front burner on stove not working. There were remnants of steps going down to lake, repair them. We left early.
This is a great property to make memories with your friends and family. The location and view is mesmerizing. We enjoyed fishing, grilling, and even tried out the canoe! We also enjoyed the peace and quiet of the neighborhood. The home is very cozy and comforting. The deck is a great place to enjoy your coffee in the crisp morning. I would highly recommend this property to any family who is looking for a nice little get away. :)
Nice and quiet neighborhood. Just the sounds of hummingbirds and squirrels during the day and silent at night.
Loved the out-of-town location of this rental. The deck and living area are amazing. Beds were comfortable enough. My 2 year old loved it! My only complaint was the cleanliness was a bit lacking. Quite a bit of hair in the bathroom and bedrooms. With such a high cleaning fee I was hoping for more.
Kitchen well equipped. Not good fishing spot. Have to walk down the hill to get to the lake, which the pictures don't reflect. Not a long walk, but steep downhill. Us old folks couldn't manage the walk very well. Too many trees to fish. However, very relaxing sitting outside.
We loved the lake near by and the fire pit area!
Whole process easy,was fun
Relaxing, warm and welcoming. Great skiing at Ski Cooper, minutes from the front door!!!
