Sproat lake Cabin

This property was excellent, 1min walk down and driveway to a beautiful lake, warm and

Immaculate, new structure but not lakeside, not a cabin, and no view. 150m walk to the water down very steep gravel driveway. View from kitchen and dining area was of neighbour's garage. Nice appliances, covered outdoor patio with seating for six and a hammock. Quiet at night and well equipped kitchen for cooking meals but sofa bed quite uncomfortable for sleeping, so something to consider if you plan for more than two to stay here. Appreciated use of kayaks and paddleboard but not all required safety equipment was provided (per rules of Transport Canada).

Great cabin, super clean! love the outdoor space and use of the dock . Sprout lake is my favourite .

My friend and I stayed at this beautiful new cabin. The location is lovely, but I didn't know that it was not lakefront, but the third cabin up from the lake. Jennifer, the host, was extremely helpful, welcoming and personable. We loved her style and approach and hospitality. Very high quality materials were used to build this cabin recently and we appreciated that very much. It was early August when we stayed, so during the day it was super hot (in the 30s), but at night, it cooled off beautifully. There is a fan over the one queen size bed and a stand up fan for the pull out couch bed. Access to the lake was steep but we managed with hiking shoes and walking poles (I am 60 and my friend is 74). The lake is gorgeous and there is an option to use paddle boards and kayaks. It's definitely a lovely stay here but because we are heat intolerant postmenopausal ladies, we would look for an air conditioned cabin next time.
