Spirit Hollow Retreat on 2.5acres . Fire pit, pool table, large deck

We stayed at Spirit Hollow this past weekend and had an amazing time. Its a great getaway location for family or group of friends, plenty of room to spread out, took the 5 Grand kids and they had an amazing time playing in the snow. Its a great house with balconies over looking the forest, pool table, and arcade. Craig the Landlord had everything ready for us when we arrived. The pellet stove was lit which made it toasty warm, no complaints at all, he has plenty of instructions posted for pellet stove and wifi passcode, we had an amazing stay and definitely recommend this wonderful retreat Spirit Hollow, 5 stars and we will definitely rent again, thank you Craig.

Have extra charge of 200 dls for no reason we did not leave dirt the place. Wich that was the message from the company.

Perfect! Good times!

Every room had a beautiful view and or a balcony. It was nice to step out of the room and see & feel the snow.

This place is great! It’s beautiful, very private, quiet community. Yet it’s only about 3-4 miles from a grocery store. Very nice cabin, kid and pet friendly. There were instructions on how to use the gas fire places, wood stoves, WiFi passcodes all of the above! And Craig, one of the owners was super easy to reach, he gave us his cell number in case there were any questions. We will most definitely be staying here again! One recommendation I’d give to future guests, rent the side by side Craig has and take a drive down to Schultz Pass it’s only about a mile away and the scenery is amazing!we stayed May 1st-May 3rd 2020

The perfect spot for a bigger group. The only thing I would suggest is more billiards equipment. One cue is broken and the other bent. Also could use a bridge. All in all I would definitely book here again.

House was exactly as described, easy access and clean

This house is an awesome place for a group to stay at. The location is so great, trees and privacy all around. We enjoyed the place which was well stocked with almost everything you need for a great stay. I was so surprised by the amount of spices, dishware, and ambiance. Thank you for the stay.

The sheets didn't stay on the beds very well but overall great place to stay!

This place is super clean!! Great location, perfect amount of space. Host was responsive and excellent. Garage access was very helpful in the snow. Pool table and arcade was a hit with the kids. Great kitchen with plenty of room to cook and big dining room table for family meals. Plenty of towels, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. Would definitely stay again!!

House well equipped. Overall a great house. The arcade games and pool table were a nice touch. Some feedback - master bedroom mattress needs replacement - sags. Sheets were not big enough to fit the bed. The bath mats outside the tub were not rubber backed.

We stayed at the cabin for a Christmas getaway, and it was perfect for our group. The space comfortably accommodated everyone, and the kitchen was very well stocked, making it easy to cook meals together. The cabin was spotless, and we really appreciated the abundance of extra linens and towels. Overall, it was a cozy, fun, and memorable stay. We would absolutely recommend it!

We had a wonderful stay! The home was beautifully tucked away in the pines—a peaceful retreat on the edge of Flagstaff. It was very well stocked with linens and kitchenware, making it easy to settle right in. We were blessed with a mix of gentle showers followed by perfect fall weather, with the golden aspens at their peak—absolutely stunning. The host was very communicative and provided prompt responses, which made everything smooth and easy. The only downside was the master bedroom mattress, which could really use replacing. Otherwise, a fantastic getaway spot!

The house was in a perfect location, not right in the middle of all the hustle and bustle but close enough to get where you wanted. Very close to the Flagstaff activities, close enough to the south rim Grand Canyon for a day trip and many, many trails nearby to explore. Dark skies at night to look at the stars as well as quiet and peaceful. The pool table and old school (old, old school ) video machine where also big hits!

Enjoyed this property during Labor Day weekend to escape the Phoenix-area heat. Ample space for the entire family with upstairs and downstairs living rooms. Kids loved the vintage video game, but also loved being outside playing in the dirt. Everyone said it felt like camping, but in a house because you are surrounded by nature. Saw lots of squirrels and deer. Highly recommend.

Beautiful home in a stunning Flagstaff location! Check-in was super easy and Craig was an amazing host. The house was spotless, fully stocked, and had so many cozy spots to relax. Everything we needed was there. We loved every minute and can’t wait to stay again. Highly, highly recommend this perfect getaway!

Beautiful home and the location was perfect. Loved having the house amongst the trees. The kids loved playing hide and seek in the tall grass. Very close to snowbowl and many hiking trails. We would stay here again.

We really enjoyed our family time at the Spirit Hollow Retreat — the cabin is tucked away in a peaceful setting and has a lot of great features like a pool table, arcade game, and modern appliances that made our stay fun and convenient.That said, I do feel the listing could be more accurate regarding the air conditioning. It’s advertised as air-conditioned, but there are only two portable A/C units upstairs and no cooling downstairs. There’s no central air, and we ended up needing to purchase extra fans to make it more comfortable. One of the upstairs bedrooms also had a broken ceiling fan, and the screen door was ripped, which made it hard to get airflow without letting bugs in.The deck area was another downside — it was quite dirty when we arrived, and some of the furniture was ripped. A portion of the deck was also broken, which raised safety concerns, especially with kids around.That being said, the host was truly awesome — super accommodating and easy to communicate with. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and that made a big difference. The check-in process was smooth, and the location was beautiful and quiet. Overall, we had a wonderful time. I just think the listing should be updated to better reflect the amenities and condition of the property to help future guests plan accordingly.

This is a cabin tucked off of Hidden Hollow. We enjoyed the location amongst the trees and it’s only a short 10min trip to town. We found the area very quiet and peaceful and enjoyed just sitting outside with great weather. We were looking to get away from the busyness of life and take a break, and this place delivered. The main living area, master bedroom, and kitchen are on the second level, so you do have to take everything up the stairs. (It was fine for us.) We did not use the lower level. But as others have commented, the master bed was way too soft and we found it uncomfortable. A lot of the outside furniture needs to be replaced (the weather has taken its toll) but there are some chairs by the fire pit that were fine that we used. Otherwise, this was a nice place to just relax outside and take in the nature and the calm. We really liked the location and that it was on a couple of acres. There are hiking trailheads just up the street that we walked to, which was nice. The host is great, quick to respond, and very nice and easy to deal with, which I definitely appreciated. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

The location was lovely, the directions were accurate, had no issues accessing the home. The home is in need of some repairs/updates. I communicated with the host (after the stay), but did not receive a response, so not sure if these are things he is already aware of. The most pressing issue is lack of a/c. There are 2 portable a/c units, but some of the windows are difficult to open making setting up the portable units for temporary use not practical. Temp was 80 in the home when we arrived.

The property location was perfect and we loved the outdoor fire pit. If you continue down the road to the right you will come to a small parking area where you can get out on some trails. The video game and pool table was a nice benefit for our competitive group :). There were a few minor issues, but the host was very responsive. My only negative from our stay was the master bed being soft, but that could just be preference. I would definitely rent again.

We had an amazing stay at this cabin! The highlight was definitely the property itself—there's a huge backyard that was absolutely perfect for playing in the snow. Whether it was snowball fights, building snowmen, or just running around with the kids, we had plenty of space to enjoy the winter wonderland.The cabin was warm, clean, and super comfortable—exactly what you'd want after a day outside in the cold. Waking up to snow-covered trees and watching it fall from the big windows was such a peaceful experience. It felt like a true escape from the hustle and bustle yet close to all the restaurants and fun you can find. If you're looking for a place where you can enjoy nature, have space to play, and still be cozy indoors, this cabin is it. The game room was a huge hit with everyone when we werent outside. We’re already talking about coming back next winter!

Great location close to snow bowl and Grand Canyon

I would recommend this place to anyone looking to escape and be close to the mountain. I will definitely be booking again!

Great place to stay with family!

The cabin was cozy, but yet very accommodating for our family to celebrate Thanksgiving. This cabin is located in a remote, beautiful wooded area. We had a great time and thank you for sharing with us.

The cabin is nice and spacious, and the property is really nice. The pool table in the downstairs area was fun. A few things didn't work, like the arcade machine (broken joystick) and the fire place in master bedroom would start, but kept turning off. Biggest gripe though was the Internet service, speed was so slow that nothing really worked consistently.. I couldn't get any speeds over 5mbps, and that was the best-case. We didn't reach out to the owner about it while there, so maybe it was a temporary issue... But likely seems like a limitation of the location in the woods. We wouldn't stay here again because of the wifi issue, but if you don't care about that, then it's a nice spot

Our stay was just perfect in every way. The house sits on a large lot with trees all around. Sitting on the front deck listening to the sound of the breeze whispering through the ponderosa pines was so relaxing and reminiscent of staying at a retreat. There are a few other properties nearby but it’s so quiet you’d hardly know. The house was exactly as listed, which is sometimes not the case with rentals. We found it to be clean and well stocked. The host, Craig, was very responsive and arrived within minutes when we had questions about how to use the TV. This is a rental we would return to in the future without question. Highly recommend.

Everything was perfect! My friends and I enjoyed the outdoor fire pit, pool table, and comfortable beds. We had everything we needed to cook in the kitchen as well. I would love the chance to stay here again!

This was the perfect cabin for me and a group of friends to relax in and be able to easily get into Flagstaff. Super comfortable, great spaces to spread out, well stocked kitchen and walking trails not far away. We high recommend and would definitely stay again.
