We’ve stayed in a lot of cabins, and I have to say that this cabin is definitely in our top 3! Very clean, well taken care of, and a BEAUTIFUL view of the mountains. Our host was very quick at responding to my questions as well.

A few small adjustments will make the next person’s stay more comfortable. There were only four coffee pods and no coffee filters for regular coffee maker. Only two sets of towels for each bathroom, at least one more set each would be more convenient. The grill did not light. The cooking spray in the cabinet was empty and filthy on the outside. The large gray blanket had a stain and what looked like a cigarette burn. It might make it more quaint if there were more decor, but other than that it was sufficient.

What a beautiful cabin and the view was absolutely amazing! The drive up and down the mountain, at the time, was quite terrifying but after the fact was just made for a good story. My suggestion is to get everything you need before heading up the mountain to limit the number of times you have to drive up and down. And absolutely make sure you have a 4x4.

Breathtaking sunsets, beautiful house, privacy, but man is the road to get there harrowing. Definitely need a 4wd/awd vehicle. Do not attempt to ride a motorcycle there, as we found out. But when you do get there, the payoff is very well worth it.

My family and I took a vacation to Bryson City and stayed four nights at this cabin—what an incredible experience! The view is absolutely spectacular—perched high above the valley, it offers a panoramic view of the mountain tops, completely removed from the noise of traffic and the bustle of town. The cabin itself was spotless and well-equipped, with amenities that made it perfect for a family stay. We especially enjoyed the peaceful evenings, with rain and cool breezes that made everything feel cozy and relaxing. Mornings were crisp and refreshing—just the right way to start each day in the mountains. The property manager was amazing—professional, responsive, and made the entire reservation and coordination process smooth and stress-free. We will definitely return and absolutely recommend this place to our friends.Do note: a 4x4 vehicle is highly recommended, especially in rainy conditions, as the steep gravel road can be a bit tricky.Overall, a wonderful, peaceful retreat. We can’t wait to come back!

We were looking for a calm, beautiful, relaxing getaway for our 5 year wedding anniversary and we sure found it here! This house had the most picturesque view we have ever seen and we spend a lot of time in the mountains. The accommodations are great and the location feels isolated but is close to a lot of things to do.

The communication by the management company was terrible. We didn't get directions for check in until right we were there (had no service) and luckily someone was checking things were in order and could give us the code so we didn't have to go back down the mountain. There is no after hours number, calling the listed number yields no results. The property listed was great... Until it wasn't. We booked this trip for the separate bedrooms, amazing view, cleanliness, and less clutter as we were traveling with an 8 months old. After 2 days, the cabins water stopped working completely and there was a mouse in the cabin. Apparently it had been an issue and the property manager didn't seem surprised it failed. They offered to move us to a nearby cabin with 2 bedrooms as well. It wasn't 2 bedrooms, it was a lofted bed and a bedroom. It was much older, smaller, cluttered with decorations the baby got into, and the view was way less spectacular. This cabin had to have been cheaper but no cost offset refund was offered or entertained when I asked. We lost half a day moving, half a day resettling and we are normally dreading going home from Bryson City and due to all of the issues we couldn't wait to leave the morning we were due to checkout. This is an annual trip that we feel we were robbed of by poor communication, high cabin price we didn't get to stay in, and added stress from the water quitting.

Our stay at this property was disappointing due to poor communication and unresolved issues. After booking, we noticed in previous reviews that guests had mentioned a sulfur smell in the water and problems with the hot tub—issues we had missed prior to booking. I reached out to the host, Jennifer, multiple times for clarification but never received a response. Even VRBO was unable to contact her. Per VRBO policy, we should have received the check-in code 72 hours before arrival, but it wasn’t sent until the day before check-in, after numerous attempts to reach her.During our stay, things worsened. On the second morning, and again on Thanksgiving, we woke up to no running water. Thankfully, Jennifer responded and sent someone to repair it within several hours, but the disruption affected our holiday plans. Unfortunately, the lack of communication throughout the process—including ignored questions and delayed check-in details—made the experience stressful and frustrating.Service can make or break a vacation rental, and in this case, it broke ours. While the water issue was eventually fixed, the overall lack of responsiveness and failure to address prior concerns left us deeply disappointed. I cannot recommend this property and hope VRBO addresses these recurring problems with the host.

The cabin was perfect and had everything we needed ! The hot tub and fireplace were perfect ! Everything was very clean! Bryson city was only a 20 minute drive, about half of that was getting down the mountain - LOL. The road to the cabin was not too bad either. We would definitely stay again!

It was an exciting drive to the top, but the stunning view from the top was well worth it! Everything was adequately appointed - we had everything we needed. The cabin was very nicely cleaned and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely come back!

We really enjoyed our short stay! The home was spotless and fully stocked! The Mountain views were spectacular with added bonus of the Northern Lights one night! The road to the home is a challenge. AWD is a must and the road is not only steep and curvy but has deep potholes and ruts. Be sure your first visit is in daylight.

Pros: Cabin was relatively new and was clean. Beds fairly comfortable for a rental. Enjoyed the pool table and great views. Appreciated fire wood bundles provided. Cons: Water had a strong odor of human waste. This was very offsetting and hurt our overall experience. We were gagging due to the smell. We saw a mouse run through the kitchen the first night, and into a crevice to the right bottom side of the stove. The owners need pest control to address this. The hot tub was severely over-chlorinated. When the jets were turned on, it bubbled like a bubble bath, giving off a burning smell of chlorine that hurt my daughter's eyes. Recommend draining the hot tub and filling with clean water. The deck had several warped pieces of wood and a latter was left on it. The WiFi did not work. We were not able to reach the rental company. The only network available did not much the info provided in the binder. The binder provided a user name and password. You don't need a user name to access a WiFi network, you need a password and the network name. Again, they did not match.

Stayed here for the weekend for some fishing and just relaxing. This place is amazing from the cabin itself to the view you get at night and the morning. My only issue is the road to get there. You have to have an AWD/4wd car. It’s a pretty steep incline to get to the cabin. I wouldn’t expect less though with the view you get.

This property was exactly as described. After renting many VRBO’s in the past, this property was hands-down the cleanest we have ever had the pleasure of staying in. Every amenity we needed was thought of. We especially enjoyed the hot tub. The views are amazing.. God‘s handiwork at its finest.
