You can catch an art exhibit, dine at an award-winning restaurant, shop the boutiques, spoil yourself at one of our many spas, trek the legendary Bend Ale Trail, listen to live music or a enjoy a local festival. Bend makes a great spot for family-friendly fun as well, from cool snowshoe tours in some of Bend's snowy forests to watching raptors soar at the High Desert Museum.

Whether right on the property or the area close by, we have it all!
We were looking for a private place to do our staff retreat and came across the Lodge at Tumalo Lake. The Lodge was absolutely perfect. The team had an amazing time. We hope to use this space in the future again.
Big spaces, comfy beds & en suite baths, great sound system, and a table to fit all 17 of us -- lovely lake trail, proximity to gorgeous waterfall hike, and not far from town if we needed anything we'd forgotten. Hosts were so easy to work with -- we had a wonderful time, highly recommend!
We hosted a business retreat at Tumalo Lake Lodge. Our participants had a wonderful time. The lodge and property are lovely.
Property was as beautiful as presented !!! The kitchen was well furnished, the beds extremely comfortable. Plenty of living space, and everyone in the family thoroughly enjoyed themselves !!!
The Lodge at Tumalo Lake was large and comfortable and a good place for our family reunion. The kitchen was very well stocked. The place is a little off the beaten path, but it didn't seem to matter that much. There's so much to do in and around Bend and the family took advantage of that. One disappointment was that only one kayak and one paddle board was available the whole week for us to use on the lake.....the others that were supposed to be there were missing, presumably taken by other renters in the area. It would have been nice to have a big screen TV that could play our personal family videos and music. Still, it was a good experience.
As someone once said...this place is amazing. I had the chance to take our families for a celebration just last week (April 7-15) and the Lodge was a perfect fit for 20 of us (7 couples and children 10-1-year-old.) Each family raved about the ability to have private space in the ensuite bedrooms and extra bathrooms. We put all the children in the loft area which has 2 queen size sofa beds complete with comfortable bedding. Their parents took the surrounding 4 bedrooms. The kitchen is amply supplied with everything you need to prepare meals and I was able to do a Costo run ahead of time. Only 15 minutes from Bend, the grounds are beautiful as we had plenty of snow, but once we drove to Bend, the weather warmed up and there is plenty to see. Don't miss the HIGH DESERT MUSEUM. The Lodge has plenty of games, including a game room with a ping/beer pong table, and ample parking for guest parking. If I have to s mention any downsides that would be the coffee maker takes a while to brew and the washer/dryer is in one of the bedrooms on the second level which creates a bit of intrusion in whoever has that bedroom. The staff (Mario) was so very helpful and on top of maintaining the property. The owner (Bill & Tracy) were extremely responsive to our needs as well, and we want to return in the summer to enjoy the lake and hiking which we were unable to enjoy due to snow and ice. I highly recommend this home and cabin to anyone who visits Oregon.
Our group of 17 had an incredible time at the Lodge. The amenities, from the livings spaces, bathrooms, and kitchen, to the hot tubs, and the sauna, exceeded our expectations. Some of our group went skiing at Mt Bachelor, and we made a few trips to Bend (both were within a reasonable driving distance from Tumalo Lake), but we could have easily stayed at the Lodge for the entire trip and had just as much fun. The frozen lake and forest views along the miles-long trail were breathtaking and sleds and snow shoes were provided for our enjoyment. The owners and staff made sure we were comfortable and maintained road and walkway access despite the continued snowfall during our stay. If privacy is a concern, we often felt like we were the only people for miles, and the occasional interactions with staff/other guests were in no-way intrusive or uncomfortable. We would not hesitate to come back to Tumalo Lake, and are hoping we can visit again soon during the spring or summer months.
Fabulous!
Our stay in Bend was incredible! The house is amazing and met all of our needs as a group of 12 adults and 1 infant. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you could need and the beds were very comfortable. The house itself is gorgeous! We had a storm creep up on us in early April that we were not expecting which made accessing the house a little more difficult, but those of us with AWD or FWD were able to come up easily. Bill met us at the house and gave us a tour. Bill assured us that their team would be up early each day plowing the road as needed. They even came each morning and scraped the snow off the deck for us. Loved everything about staying here!
An excellent property and house every accommodation you could think of. We used the spa, the sauna, the fire pit by the lake the kind of scenery out of a movie. We were aware before arriving the owners, who are very nice, but require access to the house for the laundry room just keep that in mind! They did a great job clearing snow for us and keep the road plowed
Really enjoyed our stay. Had plenty of space. Very to have lots of bathrooms. The sauna was amazing and having two hot tubs was a plus. I would stay here again.
Property had plenty of space to spread out and was as described. Everything is nice and new and in good working order.
Great Lodge! Each room has a bathroom which is amazing! Owners very responsive and friendly. House equipped with all you need. Two things on description of lodge that we overlooked....pay close attention- NO AIR CONDITIONING (house stayed pretty cool high 70's when 90's outside) and if renting ground floor level, cleaners and owners have access anytime even if you are staying there!!! Owner comes around daily....
Our family of 16 enjoyed every moment of our time at this beautiful property. So much room and the amenities were perfectly thought out for a large group. Two dishwashers, two refrigerators, two ovens, and plenty of bathrooms. The beds are comfortable and the home is extremely clean. We loved the lake, kayaks, canoes, and boats. The hike around the lake was amazing! The waterfall is spectacular and so close to the property. The river tubing was nice and exciting. There are so many fun things to do in Bend.
Our group had an amazing time on the property. The house was everything we could’ve hoped for in terms of amenities, cleanliness and space. The property was beautiful and truly a one of a kind experience that we will all remember forever. We’re already looking forward to planning our next trip back!!
