The Creekside Cabin (4 bedroom/4.5 bath, sleeps 10) is a spacious luxury cabin located just 12 miles west of downtown Bend. Situated on a unique 640-acre private parcel of forested land surrounded on all sides by the Deschutes National Forest, there are limitless trails for hiking, biking, x-country skiing and snowshoeing and the private lake offers free fishing, kayaking, canoeing and SUP. There is a wonderful 2-mile hike around the lake, a lakeside deck with chairs and a picnic table, a swimming dock and a lakeside fire pit (not allowed during fire season).

The Creekside Cabin is a high-end masterpiece of craftsmanship, constructed of huge Douglas Fir beams, cedar siding and shakes. Huge windows in every room provide a tree-house sensation with amazing views of nature in every direction. The large wrap-around deck and comfortable Adirondack chairs and rockers allow for relaxing in the fresh air while taking in the gorgeous natural surroundings and views.

The beautiful furnishings create an ambiance of casual luxury. The cabin's interior features knotty pine wood walls, doors and trim, knotty alder cabinets, and granite counter tops. The first floor open floor plan includes radiant heated floors and decorative rugs. The large living area has a wood-burning stove and huge windows with lake views. The large dining area has floor to ceiling windows with views of nature on all sides. The large chef's kitchen features granite counter tops and stainless appliances including a Jenn-Air professional stove. There is a half bath on this floor and a queen bedroom with ensuite bathroom with direct access to the deck.

The second floor features gorgeous high-pitched wood ceilings, two king bedrooms with ensuite bathroom and 1 queen bedroom with ensuite bathroom and a second living room area. The upstairs living area has huge windows with commanding views of the lake and a queen sofa bed. Bedrooms feature iron beds with quilts, cozy down comforters and pillows, and high thread count sheets. Each bedroom has amazing views in three directions. The ensuite baths feature either a shower or shower over bathtub, granite counter tops, radiant heated floors, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion amenities and hair dryer.

There are a multitude of activities and amenities right out your door on the Tumalo Lake property. We have stayed here several times now, and always have a wonderful stay. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the kitchen is well-equipped, and the common areas had plenty of room for our group of 8 adults. We'll be back!

Our family shared a long weekend in the Creekside cabin to celebrate our Mother's 90th birthday. The space was perfect for multiple couples, offering space to be away from others and great space to be together. The kitchen is very well stocked and the wood stove works well to warm the space and provide a cozy feeling. We enjoyed the hike around the lake, the kayaks a the hot tub. We will definitely return to this gem.

We filled Tumalo Lodge and the Creekside Cabin with friends and family for a lovely fall weekend. We Swam, played corn hole, hiked, gazed at the stars, and enjoyed the beauty and privacy of this lovely property. Both the lodge and the cabin are beautifully appointed. High end furniture, linens, appliances, etc; spacious and clean. If you have a chef in your crowd, they will be in heaven. Fabulous kitchen. So lovely! We have no complaints at all. I'd come back today!

An incredible property, house, lake and stay. We basked in the sunshine and played on the lake while enjoying our well designed and comfortable accomodations. It was wonderful to stay at a place where you could spend all your time rather than driving around.

We booked the Creekside Cabin for two families, and it was everything we could ask for. The Home is spacious, and it has bathrooms for each bedroom. There is plenty of living space, and lots of room to be social. The kitchen is well stocked. The wrap-around deck and views of the lake are lovely. They had games, a hammock, lots of firewood for a fire (which we never used), and plenty of kayaks, canoes, and stand up paddle boards to explore the lake. The lake is small, but perfect if you have kids and want them to go out, have fun, and explore. The walk around the lake is pleasant, and there are also some great hikes and mountain biking opportunities throughout the region. Our only challenge was that there were lots of mosquitoes in June, so bring bug spray. Initially, this affected the kids, but we discovered the mosquitoes did not hang out on the lake, so if you are doing lake activities, you were perfectly fine. This was a pleasant surprise and made the trip well worth it, and not an issue. It's about 20 minutes outside of Bend, so a perfect country getaway, with plenty of opportunities to go into town and explore as well. Thanks!

We stayed at the Creekside Cabin for three nights. Our group included my brother and his two kids (ages 20 & 14) my best friend from college and her two kids (ages 16 & 14) and my family (hubby and two boys, aged 9 & 11). The home was a perfect retreat for our group. We loved its proximity to Bend, Tumalo Falls, & just the sheer beauty of its Deschutes National Forest location. The rooms were spacious and well-appointed with all that anyone would need for a restful and enjoyable stay. It was lovely to have an array of watercraft options (paddle boards, kayaks, canoes) to tool around the lake in and the kids played for hours on paddle boards and the floating dock. We loved having an en suite bathroom for each bedroom and the hot tub was well-used by the kids. We played lots of board games in the common area and enjoyed dinners around the large dining table. The kitchen was very well-stocked with ample pots, pans, utensils, mixing bowls, glassware, plates, bowls, etc. as well as many basic spices and olive oil. It was one of the most pleasant trips our family has ever enjoyed. Thanks so much to Tracy & Bill for being such wonderful hosts and sharing this slice of heaven with us!

The Creekside Cabin is an absolutely gorgeous property in an amazing location. The house is massive and very comfortable, and the deck space was such a bonus for enjoying the early summer weather. The views are stunning, it's quiet, and we couldn't ask for a better place to hide from reality for a few days. Across the Creekside, Lakeside East, and Tumalo Lake Lodge buildings, we hosted 22 people, and we had more than enough space. I'll continue to host folks here for years to come!

Our stay at Tumalo Lake Lodge was peaceful and refreshing. The cabin was beautifully crafted, with cozy furnishings, a wood-burning stove, and stunning lake views. The private hot tub was a great way to relax after a day outside. The surrounding forest was covered in beautiful snow, making the scenery even more breathtaking. We loved exploring the nearby trails and enjoying the quiet, secluded setting. Yet, Bend was just a short drive away. If you’re looking for a perfect nature retreat with modern comforts, this is it. We’ll definitely be back!

This cabin is gorgeous and the setting can’t be topped. Snowshoe or cross country ski right out the front door or take the short drive to Mt Bachelor. The cabin is luxurious with a gourmet kitchen and four en-suite bedrooms.

Tumalo Lake Lodge was magical! Our family of five stayed in the Creekside Cabin, with a beautiful view from the wraparound deck of the fully stocked private lake. My husband and son spent a lot of time fly fishing from kayaks and in three days caught 33 fish! We spent our days hiking around the lake and taking advantage of the extensive mountain biking in the area. We rode to Tumalo Falls, which is just up the road from the lodge; and the Creekside Cabin is also only a 10-minute drive to Bend for groceries. The cabin was quite large, offering plenty of room to spread out but also provided perfect family gathering spaces. With only four cabin homes and the main lodge on 640 private acres, the surroundings are immensely peaceful. No TVs...but plenty of board games. The setting is rustic, yet these cabin homes have all the amenities you'd want for a family getaway in the mountains surrounding Bend. The experience was so relaxing; we now want to make this an annual family trip!

The cabin was amazing and the location is stunning. The pictures do not do it justice. The house was clean and had everything that is needed. It’s the quietest place I have ever been and the wildlife frequently wonders around the cabin.

Great family environment meets the needs of a close family that stuck closer to home this time, and really benefited from the resources at Tumalo.Grandkids (4) were the main feature, and they spent enormous time on the lake using all of the facilities on the lake with minimal parental involvement. Great to see how the progression has been from 2017 to 2021 to now for these children. (Couldn't do it in a sentence!)
