We really enjoyed our stay at Greg’s cabin. Everything about the cabin was top notch…nice kitchen, plenty of room inside and out for entertainment, easy access to the boat dock…oh, and comfortable beds too. Will definitely be back!
We really enjoyed the setting and openness of the living space and the deck was great! The hot tub was used several times.
Very quaint and quiet get away from the noises of town and the track for our weeken at Ls Fest
Location of property was great, we like being away from major cities and checking out the smaller towns/areas. We found some great hidden gems! Inside of house is very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the dart board and hot tub. The outside decks need a little TLC, lots of cobwebs, tables outside looked like they hadn't been cleaned in quite a while, and swing needs some attention. Nothing we couldn't deal with, just something host should think about for future renters. Would also be nice to know that we should have brought our own wash clothes and extra hand towels, and that there is no extra toliet paper or paper towels if you use what is on the roll. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and would go back.
Cozy cabin was perfect for celebrating my brother’s birthday weekend with a crew of 8 guys. Had plenty of space to sleep, lots of room for lawn games and outdoor activities, and Greg and his son couldn’t have been nicer or more hospitable. 10/10 would come back and recommend to others!
Lots of living space, 2 nice equipped kitchens, the 1 +1/2 bath works if you work it out with your group for shower time. Plenty of Linens. Parking for bass boat rigs ok depending on time of year. Front of house parking may not be available. The owner worked it out for us as we had 4 rigs to park. Sleeping rooms are adequate for fishermen. Double bunks in 1 room (need step stool to get up into top) double queens in other room.. All in all comfortable stay. Great communication with host!
We really enjoyed our stay at Greg's lake house. While we went in the winter (February), I could easily see how this place would be a lot of fun in warmer weather as well--with plenty of outdoor entertaining/enjoyable space. We particularly liked lounging, watching movies, chatting, and playing games in the spacious upstairs living room. Our daughters also enjoyed the games in the basement great room (pinball-air hockey table, soccer/boccerball table, dartboard, etc). We also spent some time relaxing in the hot tub. Greg was very accommodating and quick to respond when I had an issue with the keypad entry upon checkin. He seems like a great guy. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of appliances (instant pot, air fryer, toaster oven, Keurig and regular coffee maker, griddle). The place was well stocked generally. We've been to places before that were stingy on everything from toilet paper to hand soap to dishwasher pods, but there were no such issues here! One of the only downsides to the place actually relates to how well stocked the place was: unlike most of the rental places we've stayed at that are impersonal and more hotel-like, this rental is clearly the vacation home of a family. They probably come up and use the lake house regularly, and keep all of their supplies and personal items around the house. I'm sure they're happy to share items with guests (and they explicitly say so in the welcome letter), but we did feel a little like we were borrowing someone else's space (moreso than with other rentals), and we didn't want to push their generosity--if that makes sense. We never got any negative vibe at all from the owner, so this is really just our mentality knowing all of the personal items that were around. The refrigerator was decently (not completely) full of food, some of which was noted as shareable--to the extent that it was difficult to find room for the cooler full of food we brought with us. There is a second refrigerator in the basement, however, that had plenty of space (though was not convenient to go back and forth to the kitchen using the spiral staircase).
We were originally going to stay the 24th and dreading the drive the day before Christmas. Greg was amazing reached out and offered us to come the night before. The property is beyond beautiful. Truly enjoyed our stay
