The cabin had everything we needed for our family gathering. Plenty of comfortable sleeping places, fully stocked kitchens with lots of refrigerator space, plenty of space to gather and play games, etc. Cabin was clean and well attended to. The Christmas decor was a nice touch. One complaint: the owners do not want their guests to flush any toilet paper. That’s kind of awkward for a large group of people staying in one house. A heads up would be nice.
It was our second stay there. We had a great time. It was clean. It’s a quiet location. There are plenty of indoor games for the kids, outside space to play or take a walk. The kitchens are well supplied. Everything was in working order. Host is very easy to contact.
I definitely will use the cabin again in the future
Great place. Plenty of space. Loved the decks. Close to marina.
Loved that the property already had the simple things there. Toilet paper, paper towels, salt, pepper, spices...etc
Great place with great views!
The property was well appointed and the owners responsive and helpful. Five stars!
This cabin was awesome. Beautiful view, amazing space, plenty of dishes, linen. Anything you need it was there! 17 of us stayed and it was great. Would definitely stay again!
The house was fantastic. It was well equipped, very comfortable and exceptionally clean. We had 4 couples and it was plenty spacious. It was a great location up the hill from Wolf Marina. We had one slight issue with the propane tanks for the grills, but the hosts brought 2 new tanks the next morning. I would highly recommend this house!
This place was the ultimate spot for relaxation for a large group. It was clean, plenty of room to do everything. Highly recommend. Communication with the host was superb.
This house was amazing! The pictures do not describe how massive it really is! The view on all three floors is outstanding. Having two kitchens was a huge plus as well! The hot tub and main deck was perfect for the evenings and having a drink with your friends! Overall, highly suggest the cabain and will 100% return in the future!
My siblings and their spouses, all over 60, really enjoyed our family get together. The cabin had lots of comfortable places to sit and chat, both indoors and on the covered decks. The view of the lake and treed hills was gorgeous and we all got up each morning and so enjoyed our coffee on the deck looking over the lake. The cabin furniture and beds were comfortable. The cabin was very clean. It had all the things you could need for cooking and eating, except the food. There is also a nice selection of spices. The two refrigerators and microwaves on the main level were greatly appreciated. We used both the gas grill for steaks and burgers, and the gas griddle outside for making bacon and eggs. We did not really use the second kitchen on the lower level, but for a larger family it would be very useful. We did have trouble with getting to the place using our phones for navigation, but we called Cynthia, the Evolve guest host, and she was very nice and helpful. TIP: If you can get to the road where the Wolf River Resort and Marina is located, very close to the marina is a large sign on the right pointing to that road as the location of the Cliffhanger lodge and after turning right at the sign it is just a little way up the road. The shower water pressure is very good and my sister enjoyed the nice tub with jets. My husband and I relaxed in the large hot tub on the deck and enjoyed the beautiful view. A little squirrel entertained us running back and forth on the deck in front of the sliding doors. We were pleasantly surprised that we saw not one mosquito and almost no flies considering it was early June and pretty warm. The best thing for this group of seniors was we could unload and bring in all the food, coolers etc. directly on the main floor which had an easy ramp to the door and no steps. Of course, the people staying on the upper level did have to take their suitcases up the steps. There is also an entrance to the lower level where you can park and take stuff directly in. We had a great time of fun, food, and fellowship with our family and would highly recommend this cabin! We would definitely go there again. It is clear the owners care for this cabin and want guests to be comfortable!!
