Cabin over all was nice. The location was easy to get to. Before booking the cabin I had reviewed the reviews so we were able to prepare for the trip. A couple days before the trip I reviewed the comments again and the owner/property manager had replied that they fixed all their issues. That wasn’t the case. The dish washer didn’t work the fans in the kitchen didn’t work some of the TVs wouldn’t turn on and DEFINITELY BRING A CAN OPENER. We did have some issues with cleanliness but nothing major. Most under beds and couches. Also I emailed multiple people and never got a response. But overall the cabin was good!
From outside its good, but cleanliness is zero and kitchen appliances like dishwasher doesn’t work at all.
When we arrived the house was freezing! Luckily it wasn’t that cold outside and it warmed up before bedtime. We were unable to get the fireplace turned on so no luck there. The hot tub was also turned off. So if you plan to getting in the hot tub you won’t be getting in the first night. We had a hard time figuring it out and tried to contact the numbers and emails given. No response! The dishwasher is not attached to the cabinet so when you open the door it will fall out on you. It still worked but this did make it harder to clean the kitchen up quickly. Bring extra dishwashing soap if you plan on cooking much. No dish towels or rags. Plenty of sleeping space. Living room sitting area is limited if you have a big group coming. All in all not terrible but could have been better. Was a little disappointed it wasn’t decorated for Christmas but not a deal breaker.
We had a great time. We had read lol the reviews previously so we knew what to expect. The cabin was great. The property was well maintained and a pleasure to use. We had no problem with communicating with the owner. He did advise us texting is best which was very helpful. Will definitely come back again!
Overall the cabin was a great staying for a big gathering. Cozy from the inside with a very spacious outdoors. Only downside of it all is that there’s no restroom upstairs which made it hard for the people staying upstairs go down the swirly stairs every time they need it to use it
The fireplace doesn't work The front porch light is out. Two ceiling fans don't work The batteries in the remote need to be replaced. Hair Ball under Downstairs master bedroom. The dishwasher doesn't work. The master bedroom bath toilet leaks when flushed The upstairs bedroom 3 beds has blood stained sheets Contacted the property manager about some of the issues and did not get a response until midnight.
My family and I loved our stay..we have absolutely no complaints, the house was very spacious and exactly what we needed..the kids had plenty of space to play and run around outside
The place itself is very nice, the kids loved it there. There are some things that need improvement. First of all it is a 2 story cabin and there are 2 bathrooms but not a one on the second floor! To use the rest you have to go down a spiral narrow staircase. The dryer doesn’t dry clothes it just tumbles for hours and clothes are still wet. Ceiling fan remotes don’t work in living room. There needs to be instructions left on how to operate the hot tub. The kitchen needs to be arranged better with what utensils are there. Bring a can opener!!! When reaching out to the contact persons with questions before going 3 days before and after arriving we never could get anyone to help answer our questions to contact us back till it was way to late. There needs to be more seating in the living room for large families. The patio and outside property and the kid’s playground was great. Our children loved it. It sounds like a lot but we just rolled with it. The big deal was the no restroom upstairs, dryer, and be prepared more in the kitchen.
The inside of the cabin looked cleaned but actually the floors had not been mopped in some time. Under the kitchen sink smells like rotting wood. The dryer barely works. The outside was dirty. The chairs and decks were covered in debris that had been there for a while. Several chairs had no cushions. There was no firewood as promised. The hot tub was cold and took several hours to heat up and was full of debris and no net to clean it out. I had left two messages with the host and one email prior to our arrival with no response. We did call about the above matters and they did come right away with the wood and cleaned off the decks. They were very friendly. The cabin is in a high traffic area so you heard cars most of the night rather than the fire crackling. The cabin is a really cute place just needs more TLC for the money.
Great place for a stay with family. However, i sent a message to one of the owners and never got a response. The outdoor was dusty, we had to dust all the equipment off for us to use (ping pong table, tables, chairs). Overall great cabin just minor things to note.
Was great place
Lodge was nice, very difficult to keep warm. Fireplace was out. Hosts were very easy to talk to and helpful. Previous renter had used real wood in the gas fireplace and ruined something. Hosts had Christmas decorations out and it was very sweet!
Very nice.
The cabin was very nice and clean. Not having a bathroom upstairs was a little difficult.
Overall the property was fine, inside was clean and prepped. The TVs (cable box) didnt work, so we hooked up a game console to use in the main area. The hot tub had not been cleaned properly, after contacting the owner we were told to drain the hot tub and refill it. There is an auto siphon in the shed near the carport which allowed us to empty the hot tub in about 30 minutes, it took about 2 hours to fill back up and about 3 more hours to get the heat to ~100 degrees. If you plan on using the hot tub, check for cloudy water and off smells when you get there so that you can empty and refill before you really want to use.
I was very disappointed, was a first time trip with my cousins and bed covers had stains, one had dead bugs. TV service would not work, hot tub not clean. My family has made many trips to cabins in Broken Bow this was definitely a dissapointment.
This was an amazing getaway for my Girl scouts before they graduate high school. It was in the perfect location so we were able to go to a few places without driving a ton. It was very nice. I wish there was a bathroom on the second floor but that is not a deal breaker. They do need to fix the hot tub. Other than that, we had a fabulous time and really enjoyed it
