Spacious, airy yurt for glamping in comfort!

A cosy little round tent, down a long gravel road. You can look out the front door at the lake, down an intimidating boat ramp. I really enjoyed my stay with my dog at this property. We found it quiet and calm and easy access to hiking in the area.

The yurt #1was really nice and suited us. The staff and fellow guests were friendly. I was not so happy about the kitchen supplies. The pans are great, but there is no large bowls for serving or making pancake batter. The cooking utensils are black plastic which we no longer use and could be replaced. The fan in the bedroom was filthy, but was replaced quickly. The shower is the best, but the sink has just a tiny stream of water. The beach is not friendly for swimming which I didn’t realize. Despite my critique, I would rent again and would love to try the A frames. Thanks for welcoming our dogs!

This was our first time staying in a Yurt. It was clean, nicely decorated and perfect location. Look forward to coming back again!

Yurt had all the convinces of home (except an oven). A/c , WiFi, television. Provided firewood, bottled water, linens. Only drawback was the grade to get to the water and limited deck space .

We have never stayed in a yurt. What a wonderful experience! It is cozy and roomy. We would definitely consider this property again check in was a breeze.

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights with our three boys, and by the end of it, we pretty much didn’t want to leave. The property itself is in a lovely setting and the yurt we stayed in was way better than we expected. I have already recommended my colleagues to the spotted sandpiper (especially the yurts). I wish both Jordan and Kate the very best with their business. They were probably one of the best hosts we have had. I’d suggest you guys have some options for breakfast. PS: we are just suckers for it :)
