Southern Hills Cabin Near Beavers Bend State Park!

We went for a weekend with my parents and our son and DIL. It was nice that our parents could stay on the main floor and not have to climb stairs very often. We loved the three stories, the balcony on the back facing the trees, the hot tub and the front porch. It was very quiet and peaceful. We definitely will be back! It’s very close to Beaver Bend State Park and hiking. The only thing I would say is if you want to play pool, bring your own pool cue, as these were not in good shape. My husband went into town to find a cue and couldn’t so bring one if you want to play. If you are staying longer and tonight, I would also suggest bringing extra bath towels. Great place for 3 couples wanting their own bathrooms. We loved it!

We had the absolute best time at this cabin, our kids were so sad to leave. The setup of the house was absolutely perfect our kids pretty much each had their own floor and the game room was an added bonus they stayed down there playing pool for hours! The hottub out in the grilling area was AMAZING! The fire pit was fantastic for s’mores. The location was absolutely incredible! And my husband and I enjoyed every morning waking up with our coffee and drinking it on the balcony on the top floor. It was actually incredibly peaceful even with there being people in the surrounding cabins it was cut off enough to where you couldn’t even hardly see them. We had the most amazing time and can not wait to go back!

Enjoyed our stay overall, cabin was really nice and the kids had a blast! A few details cleaning wise from prior guests was our only issue. Would likely return for a future stay!

It’s a nice cabin, very nice location close to pretty much everything.

The check-in was easy but the top floor a/c had mold. My son and pregnant daughter in law were staying up there so they didn’t turn it on. Needless to say, it was very hot at night. As we were leaving, we went to put the towels in the washer as instructed but there was a rug in there from the previous resident that reeked. Make sure to question this if you decide to stay here.

Living room furniture not as shown in the listing. Wasn't very comfortable. Not much to work with in pots and pans. Pool table missing a ball and the room not really big enough to play very well. Everything else was good. We did enjoy the trip overall.

Even though the weather was not the best it was still a great stay. The cabin was nice and taken care of. It’s close to the town and the trails at the state park. The only thing i would recommend is maybe a mattress topper for all the king size beds, they are pretty hard and uncomfortable and more pots for cooking. Also all the pool sticks are trash, but i brought my own because i seen that on other reviews. Other than those two complaints i would recommend this cabin to anyone!!!

The cabin was great - comfortable and great location. Our only complaints were that the pool sticks had no tips so were unusable. Having a pool table was one of the things we were excited about so that was disappointing. The pots and pans were also in rough shape, but not a huge deal.Other than that, we really enjoyed it. Having a bedroom and bath on each floor was awesome, especially traveling with teens. Everyone had their own space, which was very cool.

Myself and group had a really good relaxing weekend. Definitely some exercise with the stairs. Outside of the toilet on the 2nd floor not working, limited cooking utensils, and very low water pressure..we overall had a really good time. working working

I must say we truly enjoyed our stay we loved your home and I would recommend it to anyone to stay

We met with another family for a fun weekend. The house was a little smaller than expected but met our needs well. The kids loved the downstairs and all the outside areas. Would recommend to others.

This home is beautiful and the location is perfect. Nice and cozy. We had no issues with check in and the cabin was very clean and up to par. Highly recommend this place.

We loved: three separate sleeping spaces for closed doors when some want to stay up late; the pool table and golf arcade game; third floor balcony porch for peaceful early morning coffee; fire pit and outdoor string lighting for nighttime ambianceItems to note for next visitors: there are two throws/blankets and two hot tub towels. Wifi is problematic throughout the second floor and third floor, but strong on bottom floor.Items for management: there is only one silicone kitchen utensil. Your pans will continue to get scratched if all you offer is metal spatulas/spoons. I recommend providing plastic cups. There are only glass drinking cups and children stay here.

Cabin was clean and plenty of room for our family of 7 .Beautiful outdoor space .

The property was well stocked with everything needed to cook inside and out, clean up and even do laundry. The property manager was amazing. Clear communication, friendly and even worked hard to accommodate for an early check in. We will definitely stay here again.

Bedroom and bathroom on each floor made for great privacy at night. Kitchen was well-equipped. Property manager (Autumn) was very responsive. The location is ideal being between Broken Bow and Hochatown. We'll book this or one in the area in the future.
