Stayed Mar 29, 2026Overall, very happy with our stay! I missed that one of the bedrooms was in a completely separate cabin/level, but it didn’t matter for our family. And I could see it actually being a great feature for another guest. Convenient to downtown Bryson Cory and a wonderful view from the deck. We also appreciated that it was pet friendly, as did our Aussie.

Stayed Nov 7, 2025Incredible property with all the amenities we needed and more. The host was communicative when a minor maintenance item needed repaired prior to our check in. It was taken care of before we arrived. The cabin was spacious and comfortable for our group. Everything was clean and as described. We are already planning our return trip!

Stayed Aug 9, 2025We are on a road trip and visited 5 different houses (tree house, under the canvas glamping, beach house in Florida, and pool house near Orlando) and this one was our favorite stop! I really loved the car the owner took in decorating this place - from all the bear decor, to the moving train in the game room, the old school phone, everything was nicely done. It felt so homey, we all hated leaving. And the best part was having the sauna free to use and then going into the hot tub after. You really cannot beat this! We would 10000% return here. The only thing, like other reviewers mentioned, going up that mountain hill was terrifying. So caution is advised. They should really at least make those roads wider, the. It wouldn’t be so bad. Even so, we plan to return to this place as one of our regular vacation spots.

Stayed Apr 11, 2025Fantastic stay. Our GPS didn't get us to the house, but really close. Pictures of the last .25 miles would have been helpful, but wonderful otherwise.

Stayed Mar 16, 2025The cabin was beautiful with stunning views. The drive up is pretty steep and narrow but very doable if you are a confident driver. Well worth it once you get to the top! We had no power when we got there (due to weather) but made do with candles and flashlights until lights returned later in the night. Star gazing was beautiful, especially in the dark. Cabin is decently stocked and included paper products such as TP and paper towels. We didn't use the downstairs bedroom as there was only 4 of us. Trees were still pretty bare but still enjoyed hiking in the area.

Stayed Feb 25, 2025This place was AMAZING! The view was phenomenal. The location was incredible and we loved the accommodations. The hot tub with a view and Bluetooth speakers was definitely a highlight. I would highly recommend this location and the contact person responded so quickly to questions! I would highly recommend this location and we will definitely be returning!

Stayed Feb 19, 2025We loved our stay. The cabin was the perfect size for the 3 of us. We looked at the downstairs suite, but did not use it. It was great and had perfect views! The cabin was almost on the top of the mountain and the views were amazing! The drive up to the cabin were kinda rough especially because it snowed. We took a 4x4 Jeep and a RAV4. No troubles. The cabin has everything you need. Even blow driers. The view from the hot tub was spectacular. Loved this cabin and will be back!!! Close to Bryson City and Cherokee.

Stayed Nov 26, 2024The view from this cabin is fantastic. The sun sets behind the mountains and is just beautiful. The cabin had basically everything we needed, the beds and living room furniture were comfortable, and everything was clean. The written description of the cabin does explain the layout, but the pictures were not as clear. There is one bedroom and bathroom on the main floor, and one upstairs loft bedroom and bathroom- all in the “main cabin.” The other bedroom, bathroom, and “downstairs den” are all separate. You walk outside, across the deck, and down several stairs to get to that area. It was ok for us, but would be challenging traveling with children or people with mobility issues. Also would be an issue in bad weather. It does allow for privacy, though, if traveling with a couple of groups, and that view was totally worth it!

Stayed Nov 14, 2024The stay was pretty decent and overall fun, but only after cleaning the home and making repairs was it “ ok”. Upstairs bedroom had approx 200-300 dead ladybugs on it that we had to remove…. and then pull all the sheets and comforter to wash. All doorways and window seals were full of them too. The porches were an inch plus thick in leaves and the whole porch needed to be swept!! Also in bathrooms around toilets were left over items if past guest, q tips, cotton swabs etc. I also had to change out 3 lightbulbs so we could have lights on porch all were burned out. I would prob recommend home to someone but would def shop harder and look at others before booking again!!!

Stayed Oct 5, 2024We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful cabin and would highly recommend. Accommodations are very good. The location is close to Bryson City but away from people. The morning misty clouds and evening sunsets were a beautiful way to start and end our days. The road leading to the cabin is steep, narrow and winding but is not heavily traveled. Once you drive a couple times is fine. Hope to return some day.

Stayed Sep 13, 2024The property was absolutely stunning. Central to everything we wanted to do. The only thing is the drive to the property, if you have a dually truck you might not fit, we have a 250 ford and it was challenging. Other it was probably the best view you could ask for.

Stayed Sep 5, 2024We really enjoyed our time that we spent as a family in this beautiful home. Pros: View. Quiet. 3 King Beds. 3 smallish bathrooms. Lots of space for people to spread out. Gas grill. Stocked with lots of supplies. Swing on the porch with a breathtaking view. Train on the side porch that goes around the room that little ones can enjoy (adults bring your ear plugs..lol) Checking in and out was easily done. I love that you didn't have to keep up with a key as it's a keyless entry. Cons: The bottom bedroom/den area is only reachable via outside steps. So, younger or active people should stay down there. The bathroom that was in the bottom room was a bit on the unclean side. The shower curtain had mildew and lots of soap scum on it, and really needs replaced. The bathtub itself didn't look to have been thoroughly cleaned. There was a musty smell down there as well. There are lots of steps to go in and out of the entire cabin, so older people who would have issues climbing steps will have trouble.

Stayed Jul 29, 2024Cabin was very roomy. The third bedroom in the basement is not accessible from the cabin - I wish this would’ve been clear in the description. Yes-the driveway is VERY steep but we climbed it in a sprinter van.
