The cabin was completely as described in the listing. It was spacious and clean. Some of the outlets in the kitchen were not working. The hot tub was a great. The location was up a windy hill, but that’s what you get in the mountains. It was close to Smoky Mountains along with Hollywood. The Management company was excellent at returning and answering questions and calls about the cabin. We did not have enough silverware for eight in our party and they provided us with that the next day that other comment has stated like your doors on your car and home the bears got into one of our cars, but there was no damage. It was a great week would highly recommend renting this property.

We really enjoyed our week-long stay at this cabin. It was clean, spacious, and had plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The location was great—close to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, but still felt quiet and tucked away. One of the highlights was being able to watch the Dollywood fireworks right from the top right bedroom window! The cabin is also just a short walk from one of the community pools, which was super convenient, especially with kids. That said, the kitchen could definitely use some improvements. A lot of the pans were warped and didn’t cook evenly, and it was missing several basic items like a baking sheet, spatulas, a casserole dish, and enough mugs, glasses, and utensils for the number of people the cabin sleeps. If you’re planning to cook much, you might want to bring some of your own kitchen essentials. We also noticed a few bugs in the lower level. Nothing overwhelming, but worth mentioning. All in all, it was a great stay and we loved the location, but a better-stocked kitchen and a little more attention to the lower level would make it even better.

Nice place overall. There were centipede type bugs all over the basement and the deck needs some repair for safety concerns.

Having a space large enough for our family was really exciting. The house was beautiful and the location is perfect. We liked being so close to the club house with the pool. We did have some issues with millipedes, but mostly when it was raining quite a bit. We also found the furniture to not be super comfortable, but there was ample seating.

Beautiful cabin, very clean. Lots of stairs but we are the older generation. I would have liked at least a Christmas tree for the season.

Absolutely beautiful cabin. Clean and well laid out for privacy for a large group. Perfect location - close to Gatlinburg but still tucked away. Trolley stop just down the road gave easy access without having to worry about downtown parking.

We had a great stay at Smokey Treats in late August. Everything was in good shape in the house. As per other recent reviews, there is not much silverware for a larger group and the pans are pretty scratched up, so we came prepared with plasticware and whatever cooking pots I thought we would need. The air conditioning was working very well-the temps were into the low 90s. Most of the bedrooms have separate units. The beds were comfortable enough. The pillows were plump and dense, so if you want a flat pillow, bring your own. My group did not have any complaints! Bring gates if you need them for toddlers. We saw plenty of bears around the property and on the mountain which was so fun to see.

Overall good experience. Advice to renters bring alot of oil, butter or spray because the pots and pans provided are terrible. The toaster has to be turned over to get toast out, bring silver ware or plastics cutlery. Only 8 forks, knives. Everything kitchen related seemed to be from a thrift store. Also there is no trash pickup. You have to call and let them know when it's full but they don't tell you that. Outdoor seating is inadequate if you have large family. more deck chairs needed. The house is very nice and the beds are somwhere between hard and soft - memory foam, not bad. Water pressure is lacking in showers but you can make do. Hot tub is excellent! Could use more seating in living area. It's a beautiful home built in 2022 but they skimped and went cheap on the little things. very cheap. Bears! There are Bears in and around this cabin because people have fed them in the past. There is no gate on the lower deck to stop them from coming up on to the deck so we made a small barricade with a chair just enough so we weren't caught off guard. The bears were cool to see but we made sure we were inside and safe. Had to keep an eye on the kids. The Bears just wondered around for a minute then left. Never aggressive really. They have a path and travel on the road where you park so you have to be alert early morning and dusk. Do not feed the Bears, they get tagged and eventually euthanized by the state because they become unafraid of humans.
