Stayed Dec 31, 1969I'm not sure who this room is actually suited for - the term cabin is doing some heavy lifting, as it is not a standalone unit but a quarter of a trailer, and it smelled of smoke and an air freshener just adding to it to the point we had to air our room out when we arrived. I can assure you that if you were seeking the advertised romantic lakeside getaway, you will get a third of what you paid for because the *is* a lake, although I would suspect romance is not in the cards here. The room itself is Spartan, to the point that I've actually had better lodging while deployed. This all might be easier to deal with if it were somewhat separate from other visitors. The unit would probably work for a place to crash and shower off after a day on the lake, but the price is steep for that use. The suggestion to bring firewood is in reference to a communal fireplace with your fellow cabin dwellers, who you may have been introduced to by overhearing their conversations through the walls. Sadly, we missed out on more formal introductions with Kevin and his partner, as after spending a cumulative hour in the room, we decided to cut our losses, drop the key off, and just head home.
