Sleepy Hollow Beach Resort introduces Stonebridge 37

Wonderful! Highly recommended for families. Great access to Lake Michigan and tons of activities at the resort.

The kitchen was stocked with pots and pans and a coffee maker. Plenty of linens. The foliage is abundant so it’s not super bright and sunny inside but since it’s at the end of the road, it was very quiet and cozy. We would definitely rent here again.

The amenities at the Sleepy Hallow resort (pool, lake access with beach chairs, yoga, bike use, tennis and pickleball, fire pit and playground) were wonderful, well kept up and we enjoyed every minute in which we were not in our specific unit. The unit itself had issues during our week. I felt like perhaps the prep for the unit was rushed. It smelled musty, the screened porch was not well maintained and buggy, the smoke detector lacked batteries, there was a co detector in a drawer not working, lightbulbs were out and there was no broom which we needed the first night. Our AC went out for 2 days/nights during a rather hot spell. Maintenance did their best to remedy the situation, but I would never rent that unit again.

It had a cute screened in porch which we never got to use cause the weather turned hot 🥵 Everything was clean and comfortable. The pool not working was a bummer. But the beach was lovely just not as close as the pool would have been. And the AC not working in the Community Center made it very warm during our social activities.

Reviewer Comments: My family and five other families just had the most wonderful reunion week with three generations relaxing, laughing, eating and playing together. Three families stayed at Sleepy Hollow and three stayed at nearby spots because of their pets but we all congregated over shared meals and beach and pool time. Our unit was clean and in good shape, great for our large gatherings with enough tables and seating inside and outside on our screened porch. Shasta and Dale were wonderful, gave us our wood in a bucket for the traditional last night fire on the beach. Even provided a gorgeous sunset. Loved the bright blue beach chairs and the landings for rest stops on the long hike up and down the stairs to the beautiful sand below. That breathtaking view is the same as it was 27 years ago!

Reviewer Comments: Sleepy hollow is a great getaway location in SH - loved the quick and private access to the beach as well as the resort amenities (we used the pool and the playground for my little one). Easy self checkin process with great communication from management. The house was clean, the kitchen was stocked with everything to cook meals for family of 6 and the in unit washer/ drier was nice for drying beach towels and clothes. We’ve stayed at a different unit in the past and will definitely come back again!
